“Perfect!”

Just returned from Belize, and loved Caye Caulker Condos! it is the best place to stay on Caye Caulker. Great location, so close to the split. Also, there is a nice quiet swim area on the other side. Nice pool, it was great for our 5 years old. Rooms are pretty comfortable.
Pleaces to eat - try Wish Willy - he is great! Habaneros - is very nice. Also liked Femis.

These are basically large motel rooms with compact, but complete kitchens, and water coolers. The TV gets about 50 channels, the most we found in Belize, and there is a futon, a table with two chairs, and a queen bed. There is a porch with an ocean view, and a rooftop terrace with hammocks in the shade and 180 degree views.
The new pool is nice and privately located. Free wi-fi is provided, or you can use the manager's computer to check emails.
Although priced slightly higher, the second floor rooms are quieter and more secure than the ground floor rooms. Ask for #8 or #5. The doors to the porches for #6 and #7 are next to each other so that, if your door is open, your neighbors cannot help but see into your room if they are on the porch.
There is really nothing to criticize about Caye Caulker Condos, except that they are located at the end of the island near the Split which makes the walk to the center of town a bit longer.

The CCCondos lived up to everything on their website. The room was clean and secure. The AC unit looked fine, but we never turned it on as the temp was fine with the windows open. The fridge was good for keeping drinks and Belikin beer cold. The individual front porch was a nice shady place to sit and read or just watch the ocean as was the rooftop deck with the hammocks. The bathroom has a huge shower with 2 showerheads (plenty of room for two !) and very cool stone walls and floors, but that was really the only character the room itself had. We borrowed the bikes one evening for a ride, and Barbara was very accomodating. There are certainly MUCH cheaper places to stay on the island, but we are in our 40's and didn't want to "Rough it". We had a great full-day Snorkel with Frenchie's Diving that is right by the hotel and had a great dinner at Habaneros. The sealife on the reef will not disappoint.

CCC is one of the nicest accomodations on the island and accomodations of this caliber seems to be where the island is going.

cheaper accomodations are available, but I'm in my late 30's, and I don't want to spend my precious time doing something that is only a step above camping. Plus, the amenities (mini kitchen, microwave, fridge) are nice to have.

Service is wonderful. Daily maid service to sweep out all of Caye Caulker's sand is just wonderful. Location is marvelous.

And I think Caye caulker is magical, too. I literally toook my shoes off at the airstrip and the only footwear I used for an entire week was my fins.

We stayed at the Caye Caulker Condos in August while we were on the island doing volunteer veterinary work with the organization "World Vets". 4 people from our team stayed there. The rooms are very clean, great A/C, the view is awesome and the location right next to the split just cant be beat. Swimming and the beach are just a few steps away. Use of the bikes was a plus for getting around the island. They are building a pool and it looks to be nearing comletion. The rooftop area with hammocks and a nice breeze was great. I would say that this is one of the nicest hotels on the island and we would definitely stay there again. All good, no bad!!

We were unsatisfied with our other accomodations so we just started walking around and found this beautiful hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved that we could borrow bikes anytime to cruise around the island. The kitchenette was great for making breakfast in the morning. The best part was the rooftop palapa. We spent many lazy afternoons laying in hammocks and reading while being able to have spectacular ocean views off both sides of the palapa. We had a great stay here with no problems. As another reviewer said, the beaches on Caye Caulker aren't much, but this hotel has a great location by the split which seemed to be the most popular swimming area.

My fiancé and I went to Caye Culker for a week in the middle of August in 2006. Despite the time of year, the heat was completely manageable. To get to Caye Caulker, you must either take a water taxi or a short flight for the mainland to this wonderful island - we chose the flight, which was a bit more expensive, but worth the view! Check out the privately-owned island on your way to Caye Caulker. Once you arrive your "taxi" (golf cart) is waiting for you. Pile in your luggage and hop on for a slightly bumpy ride to Front Street where you will find Caye Caulker Condos, right on the split!

The first thing you will notice about Caye Caulker is that there is no proper beach, so if you are looking for soft white sands, this is not the place for you. But, if you are looking for relaxation, delicious food, good drinks, and a generally "chill" atmosphere, then you have found the right location.

Barbara at Caye Caulker Condos is just wonderful. She is not obtrusive, but rather, very helpful. She will help you plan a day trip to the Mayan ruins on the mainland, complete with lunch at the wonderful Marumba Jungle Spa in the middle of the Belizean jungle. The snorkeling (and diving) is just amazing because Caye Caulker is surrounded by the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. You can also do some snorkeling of your own just off the split, which is right in front of your hotel room.

As for the hotel itself, it has everything you would need. The bed is quite comfortable and the room is fully equipped with a futon, small breakfast table, A/C, color TV/cable, full kitchenette complete with stove and range top, water cooler (which was replenished as often as needed - this was KEY), and the two best parts - your own balcony and the double shower which was "tiled" with River Rocks! These last two things are the perfect way to end your day, especially if you are holding a Panty Ripper in your hand - no, this isn't some psychotic reference, it is a drink that everyone on the island serves and it is made with coconut rum and it is truly sublime!!! I would recommend a 2nd level room as you have better views of the sea from the balcony.

This is a pretty quiet island, so if you are looking for a lot of nightlife (we weren't), then this isn't for you. There are bars to go to at night, but we just preferred sitting on our balcony every night, listening to music and drinking the local rum. This is the perfect place to unwind, especially if you are coming from a busy city life (like we are - coming from NYC). There are lots of great places to eat, but our two faves were Herbal Tribe and Rainbow. Make sure to check out Herbal Tribe for happy hour - best drinks around!!

I could go on and on - but this is long already! We loved this place so much, we will definitely go back some day!!
