First off, its Ras Creek, not Ross Creek altough "Ras" can be pronounced similar to "Ross". Ras is a nice local guy and parks his boat (see picture) at the Lazy Lizard at the split where most people hang out to drink beers and snorkle. Our first night we got in he and some guys were cutting up some conch they had caught during the day and offered some conch dip and chips which was pretty good. The ride can handle about 10 people or so in addition to a couple of guys that help him out. Ras talks about the history of the island as you ride around and you stop in a couple of spots for snorkeling/conch diving as well as stingray and shark alley where Ras will pick up the stingrays and nurse sharks for you to hold and take pictures of. The stingrays are like little puppy dogs swimming around your feet looking for a handout. A 5 foot long baracuda was hanging around when we were there but Ras said he was just looking for a handout too and wouldn't harm us. We also stopped at the cave entrance on the other side of the island before returning to the Lazy Lizard at sunset. He also serves lunch of some kind of conch dish with rice, pretty tasty lunch plus you can bring your own beer if you want plus they have some fruit punch. I think the trip was $50 for the me and my wife so it wasn't too pricey. Overall I'd recommend the trip. It takes around 2 hours or so.
