We spent 10 days on Caye Caulker and made a point of stopping in to the Barrier Reef at least once a day. The new owner, Scott, is a constant presence, greeting guests and making people feel welcome. Many expats frequent the pub and are eager to welcome tourists and share their stories. The Barrier Reef offers something for everyone, including trivia nights, 5 screens with satellite to keep up on your favourite sports, jam days and Christmas and New Years celebrations. The food is classic bar fare and the staff are friendly and attentive. The Barrier Reef gave a neighbourhood pub feeling to our vacation. We always felt welcome and always had a great time.
