“A friendly little island”
Reviewed May 5, 2012

Just 30 minutes by boat from Ambergris Cay. $5 pp taxi ride (golf cart) to take you to your hotel with bags. After that you only need the taxi to take you back to the boat when you leave. Everything is so close and easy walking distance. We walked around the island every day. The airport is a small building at one end of town. Enough restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance. It is really a place to relax and enjoy the Belizean sunshine and the laid back pace. The people are friendly and accommodating. Check out the Lazy Lizzard Bar located at the island split. Cheap drinks while you cool off in the water. Im not a beer drinker but the Belikin is a great tasting refreshing beer, check it out! A lovely little island.

“Go Slow!”
Reviewed April 30, 2012

Everything is a short walk or bike ride, the locals are fantastic and friendly. Has a lot going for it with out all the bustle of San Pedro and Ambergis Caye.

“A little bit of paradise”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

Have been to CC 4 times over the past 5 years. Just completed a 2 week stay on CC and did not want to leave again. An amazing, simple, little place with so much to do or not do -- read, sleep, drink Belikins, rum drinks, lunch and sunset at the Split, dive, snorkel, bike ride..... what else is there! Rented two seperate places this trip a studio apartment at Picololo's and Canuck Cottages. I can recommend both places. Rental's are the way to go -- gives you a feeling of living in a place versus out of a hotel room. Can't wait to go back.

“Calm place to spend a few days”
Reviewed April 28, 2012

Rented bicycles and went around the island one day. Did a lot of walking up and down the streets just people watching. Everyone was friendly. Food was good in most restaurants. Snorkelling was amazing down by the spit.
