We stayed at Colinda Cabanas for 4 nights in April, 2013 and I loved it!!
We had our private cabana, that came with personal bikes for the three of us to get around the island. Colin, who checked us in, made sure we knew all the in's and out's of the island upon check in. The rooms were cute, hot showers and filtered drinking water in the rooms are always a huge plus for us!!

Can't wait to stay with them again!!

Loved this place, Colin and Linda are the nicest people. I proposed to my girl on this trip so it was a big one and we are so glad we stayed here. Both Colin and Linda were the best hosts and the free bikes, air conditioning, room service, hot showers were all fantastic. Loved it!

Hi Colin and Linda! While we didn't have the chance to meet Linda (she was in Canada), we were happy to have met Colin. Colin is friendly, helpful and a great resource for travelers. He gave us the rundown of Caye Caulker on our first night and provided helpful tips.

Our room was very clean, air conditioned, everything seemed pretty new, the cleaning service was great, and we had everything we needed. My only complaint is the smell coming from the well water in the bathroom (like rotten eggs) but they used chlorine tablets to fix this after a couple of days...which sort of worked. We got used to the smell so it wasn't a big deal. The water from the faucets was filtered so just the toilet water was from the well-thank goodness.

We especially loved the bikes that were provided for us. We rode all over Caye Caulker everyday and also used the snorkel gear.

Colin, thanks for being so great. We loved your enthusiasm and hospitality.

We have the back cabana which has just been renovated. Spotless and super cute. Best location and property on the island. Tidy, clean and with an island flair. lots of pretty plants around the property with visiting hummingbirds and iguanas. A ten minute bike ride from downtown, it is quiet but still plenty close to all attractions and stores. Can't beat the free Internet, bikes and kayaks. lovely dock wi private areas to sunbathe or read. The owners are Canadian and easily available and approachable for all your needs. No other place I have seen on the island can compare. Book early!

Room Tip: Try to book one of the beach front suites for the breeze

We stayed here for 4 nights while in Caye Caulker and it was lovely! Colin and Linda were very hospitable. Our little cabana was at the back but it was perfect because there was no noise and we felt like it was just the two of us. Its on the opposite side of the Split (the beach/swimming area) but you get a pair of bikes with your Cabana so its perfect! We didn't use the kitchen but having the fridge did wonders when you needed a cold drink! We can't wait to come back and enjoy some more time in the hammocks!

We stayed here for the first few nights on our Belize trip and it was a great intro to the holiday. Colin really understands what those extra touches mean when travellers reflect on their experiences. His cabanas have just the right level of seaside chic, and his dock is very well maintained with plenty of spaces to lounge. Bikes are thrown in with the cabana and there is also a canoe that is free to use. Each cabana has an unlimited supply of purified water - together these small touches added up to a lot. Cabins have daily housekeeping maid service so towels and bedding were always clean. We were most impressed by his talk when we arrived, Colin spent time giving us a great breakdown of reputable tour companies and places to eat based on our interests and preferences. We spent the rest of our holidays comparing other accommodation with Colindas and believe me we didn't stay anywhere better!

My family stayed at Colinda Cabana’s for 5 nights the end of March and simply loved it. This was our first trip to Belize and choose Caye Caulker for the majority of the trip. I had read other reviews of the property and thought it would be a good fit – how right I was! Colin was great and helpful; the room clean and so nice; everyone that worked there was friendly and cleaned our unit each day; the kitchen and supplies perfect. Everything you read about the dock, deck and hammock are right on – I even purchased a similar hammock and brought it home! We can’t wait to go back next year and already planning to stay longer.
