Stayed in the upper beachfront room which had an awesome view of that turquoise Caribbean water and the reef. The location is ideal, except if it happens to be the weekend of a festival. Unless, of course you *want* to be awake until 4AM because of the extremely loud DJ party almost directly across from the room. And because the room is not air-conditioned, you need to have the shutters open to let in the cooling breeze off the ocean, so there was no getting away from it... I mean, the walls and bed were literally shaking with every bass beat.
Another 'but' is the room we had was very tiny and getting pretty shabby, especially the bathroom and had an ant problem. But, to be honest, we did not see any of the other rooms, so can't speak for them.
I find it odd that none of the other reviewers mention that the 'kitchenette' is shared and is at the back of the main level. Just so you are aware of that. If you are used to hosteling you won't find that a problem. Except it had no kettle or toaster and only a counter-top 1-burner 'stove'.
Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay at Jeremiah's despite the above, I just thought it fair to give you all a balanced review because we had higher expectations when we booked, then felt a bit of a 'let-down' on arrival.
But I can't say enough good about the service. Shehady, who takes care of reception, cleaning, customer service, does a fantastic job and all with a smile! The owner, Jim, is also a kind, friendly person and has great plans for future upgrades to the place. (must say he was unfairly judged by one of the reviewers here).
I would definitely recommend Jeremiah's for folks who want to enjoy a great location 'on the cheap' and aren't fussy when it comes to peeling paint and such.

Room Tip: The only room overlooking the water is the upper front room.

Simple accommodations but great deal for the $$! Central location. Felt very safe and secure. Free wifi. Our own hammock that you could see the ocean from. Simple kitchenette with BBQ grill. Used it quite a bit as we were on a tight budget. Stayed 4 nights before heading to Belize City, had to come back for another night and they were expecting us! Shee, the front desk/housekeeper/maintenence.... girl was so fun! So excited for us to get married! Such a cutie! Quite helpful as well directing us to great restaurants, fishing spots etc... Thanks She and Jim. We WILL be back!!

Room Tip: We stayed in room #1. 2 beds, private bathroom, each bed had its own fan. quiet.

I stayed with friends for several nights while on Caye Caulker. We arrived late, and in the rain, and found Shehady's fresh, smiling face to greet us. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the island and was super helpful with information and help with forward booking. The room was simple, with a fan and its own bathroom on the second floor. Shehady beamed about the improvements she had planned...I can only imagine what she has going now.

Room Tip: I'd recommend a second floor room for privacy and breezes.

This was a cute little collection of cabin rooms, with a shared bathroom (although you could get private) and a little kitchen. Run by lovely people. Great location. Prices were fair, although most hostels/inns on the island are very similar prices. Would defintely recommend it.

We stayed here for five nights and absolutely loved it. It was a home away from home. Cost BZ$50 per night for a double room with fan. The room was large. It had a double and single bed. Our room was downstairs and had a private bathroom. I know some of the cheaper rooms have shared bathroom. The room was cleaned regularly and to a good standard. There was hot water in the shower but no WIFI in the room when we stayed there but I know they were hoping to get it in.

The hotel adjoins a really nice restaurant and we ate there many times. Despite the hotel being beside a restaurant it is not noisy at all and sleep quality is great. Indeed in terms of location, Jeremiah’s Inn is perfect. It is situated along the main street with many shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The small beach is less than a five minute walk.

There is a shared kitchen facility with unlimited free drinking water. It also has a fridge and microwave and a coffee maker. It really was great to have this kitchen especially the drinking water and having the use of a fridge.

There are hammocks outside all the downstairs rooms (not sure if there is outside the upstairs ones) which were great to lounge in.

For us, what makes this hotel stand out from others is the girl who runs the place- Shehady. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, she was the perfect host and couldn’t do enough to help us. She is one of the nicest people you could ever meet and we found ourselves sitting in the hammocks chatting away to her on numerous occasions as if we were old friends. She was always so helpful and even brought a toaster from her own house for us to use in the kitchen for the duration of our stay! With Shehady in charge this place can only do well.
