Like everyone says this is a hard place to find, if you walk south down middle street until you get to the end(there is a sign here pointing you towards it), take a right and walk about 2 blocks up, the entrance is on your left, it looks like someones drive way (there are signs pointing again) then around the back off some house and a lot of rubbish, then you are there, head upstairs.

The owner is a lovely lady and quite friendly, she is also the cook. A lot of the stuff on the menu was unavailable and i'll put this down to the fact she spent the weekend at the lobster fest and hadn't been able to restock yet.

I had the jerk fish, which is a very spicy Jamaican style sauce, if you like spicy then get the jerk of anything, she does it quite well. Girlfriend had the lobster with garlic butter which was very very tasty. We had a rum punch each and they went down nicely.

Quite a nice place to eat once you find it and it feels like you are nearly being cooked for in a home rather then a restaurant, not a busy place since its off the beaten trail. The waitress was lovely and had a smile on her face and was very polite. Nice little view of the ocean if you get there before sunset.

the little kitchen is in the "ghetto" of the island and it is quite a walk to get there BUT it is so cool once you go and enjoy truly fresh and authentic belizian seafood at a great price. fun adventure for us to walk from out hotel (seaside cabanas which is THE BEST) and experience the real people (not tourguides and tourist trap salesman) of caye caulker

The place is a true Belizean restaurant- local foods, local flavors, good prices. You can get cowfoot soup, fried whole fish, fresh juices, etc. The location is a bit hard to find. and it can be a bit nervewracking! It is located about mid island- away from the downtown tourist area.

The Little Kitchen can be a challenge to find, and if you are at all leery about the appearance of your restaurant it can be a challenge to keep going down the alley and around the corners to get to the stairs that take you up to the rooftop restaurant. Please do not be put off! The Little Kitchen is definitely worth a visit or more than one visit. Start with the conch fritters appetizer, or just order more than one plate and make a meal of them. They are DELICIOUS! I had the barracuda in coconut sauce - it was a filet and it was excellent. Service was really friendly. We planned to return, but there are so many good options for meals that, alas, we never made it back.
