When we came to Caye Caulker in January, this place was recommended to us by Juni, a local, for breakfast before we went snorkeling. My boyfriend and I both ordered eggs, red beans, and cinnamon roll with coffee and a bottle of orange juice, for $22 BZ dollars....$11 US. We don't eat meat, so I can't vouch for that, but the eggs are just right (not soggy) and the beans were extremely flavorful. Their cinnamon rolls are homemade and delicious, and their coffee is pretty good for what I have found on the island. All in all Glenda's is the spot to go for breakfast. You CANNOT miss out on this breakfast when you come to Caye Caulker. We have also eaten there a few times this trip, in July, and the food is just as good :)

Glenda's is a great inexpensive place for breakfast. We especially loved their cinnamon rolls & fresh orange juice!

Located on a back street basically in a converted house, Glenda's is okay for breakfast. I've read so many reviews about the overwhelming cinnamon buns. What gives? Maybe some of you have heard of Cinn-a-Bon in the states. Now that would be overwhelming! Glenda's are good but with no frosting and not over abundant cinnamon, but still tasty. We had a couple of breakfasts here and had different orders each time. Seems it's just a little backwater place with decent food and, while we were there, decent service. Kids came and went getting bags of buns but our orders still arrived in a timely manner. Eggs, ham, and other breakfast items were cooked to order and tasted fine. Fresh squeezed orange juice and okay coffee worked for us. Prices are in line if not a teeny bit cheaper than the main drag shops. Glenda's is not open past 10:00 so don't be a night owl and get up late for this place.

Good local food, menu is limited, but the quality of the food is good and the price is very reasonable.

There are few better ways to start a day than with one of these cinnamon rolls. I would stick with take out. Table service is really slow and the breakfast is nothing special.
