My boyfriend and I went on an all day tour with Ragamuffin after checking many of the popular choices on the island. We are glad we went with Ragamuffin. The gave us cooked lunches which they purchase from a restaurant that is a local favorite. I saw other companies fixing plain sandwiches for their guests. There was all you can drink rum punch and wonderful ceviche. They even accommodated those who had shellfish allergies. The guide and captain were also great. Book Ragamuffin and have a reggae of a good time.

I absolutely loved this trip. From lounging on the deck of the boat and taking in the beautiful scenery, to the adventure in the water, it was great all around. We had an amazing group of people and the guys running the show were awesome! We had Shane and Jacob. Shane was pure entertainment and had such a great upbeat personality. He made an already cool trip that much more fun. Jacob was our guide and was a great leader. He definitely knew what he was talking about and seemed to be able to seek out anything and everything. This day will go down as one of the highlights of my trip. If you can make it happen...go with Ragamuffin!!!!

Overall the trip was a great experience. We did the full day sail snorkel. Both my friend and I felt a bit green initially but it did pass. Think it was the exhaust from the boat when sitting and idling. The water is so clear you can see to the bottom the entire way. They tend to fill up these trips quickly even on a week day, average of 20-30 people split between 2 boats. Here is the part that may not be for everyone: The drinking kicks in on the return trip, but think the boat may know its own way back. The lead guy was hitting on a group of young blonde tourists from the moment the boat went into cruise and was his main focus for the entire trip. Think he lost points when he decided to urinate off the back of the boat more than once when the rum punch came out. The trip is broken up into 3 stops. The first one you stay close to the boat and wander around on your own for a half hour or so. Second stop you follow the guides in 2 groups, and they take you around and name species for you. This part we went quite a distance, I'm not highly athletic or a couch potato, but found it very tiring at points and someone not in decent condition could find it very challenging. There was not consideration or options presented for people that may have low tolerance, or may just not want to be out that long. Bring PLENTY of sunscreen. The ceviche was excellent, they also made sure to keep you hydrated. Were knowledgeable about the species and the area. Would consider one of the longer trips but would want more mature crew.

What an awesome tour! We did the full day snorkeling. Went out on sailing boats with Jesse and Akimbo or something. First snorkel is just coral. Next one sharks and rays that the guides hold and you can touch them - incredible. Then a snorkel across the channel with turtles tarpon barracuda grouper turtles eagle rays! Then prawn ceviche made on the boat, reggae music, and more rum punch than you can (or should) drink. Nice young crowd and awesome crew. What a fab day!
