Rose's was recommended to us by the taxi driver that drove us to our hotel. They lay out the day's fresh catch for you (along with some chicken and beef options), and you pick what you'd like them to grill for you. The shrimp kebabs I ordered were very fresh and came with tasty yellow rice and coleslaw.
My husband ordered filet mignon, which came wrapped in bacon and topped with onions, peppers and mushrooms in a brown sauce. The steak was cooked well but was a bit fatty for filet. Although, that is probably more indicative of how difficult it is to get beef in Belize - I wouldn't fault the restaurant, though I probably wouldn't order steak from there again. His baked potato was cooked with garlic and was good enough to not need butter or sour cream, as you typically get in the US.
Overall, it was a good experience, though on the pricier end of our meals in Caye Caulker.
