“Cooked my catch”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

I caught a large grouper that day and brought filets for two of us to Habenero's. They cooked the fish and included two sides for $12.50 US. The fish was cooked expertly and the sides were great. The owner came out to speak to us twice to see if things were going well. We were there early on Friday night (we were the first ones in the restaurant) and service was very good and fast. The setting is great since it is on the main intersection in town. I can't think of anything negative to say about the place.

“Pricey, not everything was fresh”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

We celebrated my birthday at Habanero's. The food was alright and very pricey. We all ordered seafood but I can't remember the fancy names they had. Most of the food was good but the seafood didn't seem as fresh as Rose's. The two desserts we ordered were okay. I wasn't a fan of the key lime pie. I believe Rose's had better quality seafood and much better value.

“Food was excellent - Slow - Pricey”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

The food was excellent and more that we could eat. Service was very slow and it almost seemed that they weren't to interested in service. Prices are the highest on the island... prices seem more suited to Boca Raton. They added an extra drink to our bill... an oversight... I don't think so!

“Habanero's is no Rose's…”
Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

Very dispointing after all the good reviews in TA. Unfortunately we had dinner the night before at rose's where the fish and lobsters are fresh and cooked to perfection. Hababero's menu looks very fancy but at the end does not live up to expectation. Fish too cooked and maybe not fresh, flavored that overtake the product…at the end not a pleasant experience and expensive. For sure Rose's right next door is the place to go to eat real fresh a flavorful seafood.
