We went cave tubing and zip lining last week and were lucky to get Javier! He made the trip great! Lots of info on the boat ride from San Pedro to the mainland - I felt that he enjoys his job and meeting people! We never stopped having fun and we had a small but great group. Javier went above and beyond to make our excursion the best!!! Loved this excursion!

Snorkeling at it's best, my 17 year old and 10 year old simply loved it! Bright, beautiful fish, massive sting rays and even sharks, and so much more! Topped off with a beach barbecue, home made and sumptuous! If you want to be pampered, have skilled divers show you the best of the reef, in some of the most beautiful blue waters in Belize, book your trip with SEAarious Adventures! Bring your underwater camera, we are glad we did! The picture in my hand was a tasty cake dripped in rum. Oh, how I could go for one of them again!

We booked three tours with this company through our resort, sadly, on the day of our last tour, my husband woke up sick, and felt it would not be in his best intrest to take the trip that day. We were unaware that because we canceled, there were not enough people, so the entire trip was canceled. They told us that we would still have to pay for our trip. We felt that this was not fair. It ended up that thanks to our resort, we did get the price down a bit, but we still had to pay. So my advice, before you book a tour, ask about the cancellation clause.

We are sorry to hear that you were not made aware of our cancellation policy when you booked the tour at your Resort. We have had to implement this policy over the years in order NOT to disappoint other guests booked on the tour by cancelling the tour due to last minute cancellation and therefore not having our minimum. We did not cancel the tour that day even though we did not have our minimum. We apologize for the inconvenience but feel that it is only fair to the other guests. We will definitely remind your resort to make sure that their guests are made aware of the cancellation policy Glad to hear you enjoyed your other tours with Searious Adventures.

We booked two tours with SEArious through our resort. On our first day, we went snorkeling at Hol Chan and then over to Shark Ray Alley. A couple of us were a bit anxious about snorkeling in unfamiliar territory and I cannot express how compassionate and patient our guides were (Daniel and another guy whose name I can't remember). They took us into various depths of water and pointed out marine life that we would have otherwise overlooked. Got some amazing under-water photos! From there, we went over to Shark Ray Alley and Daniel jumped in, with food of course, and the sharks and rays came right to him - he caught a shark and cuddled it like a puppy! It was amazing, and also allowed us the opportunity to get close and pet it! Then he did the same with a couple of rays.

The next day, we took the trip out to Lamanai - Gustavo and Javier started us off in the boat ride to the mainland and were so funny and entertaining on the hour-long trek. Gus told us about the history of the area, including the surrounding islands and waterways along the journey. Next was an hour-long bus ride (more like a nice passenger van) to the New River, where we hopped on a boat with another group and a new captain. We made several stops along the river to see crocodiles, birds, turtles, etc. and experience the jungle. When we arrived at the Lamanai site, we were served lunch and then started the tour of the ruins. Our guide there was so incredibly knowledgeable about... well, everything. He gave us so much history and background on every aspect of the tour - not just the ruins, but also the wildlife and plant life. At one point, he stuck a weed into a hole in the ground and pulled out a tarantula! Scary, but way cool! Everything about this trip was fun and exciting. And on the journey back, we were served rum punch/beer and coconut tarts. The group that we were with was so much fun that we literally laughed the entire trip back.

SEArious was serious about showing us a great time. It was obvious that the guides love what they do and care about their customers. We had so much fun, and our only regret was that we didn't have more time during our vacation to enjoy additional excursions. Will definitely book with this group when we return to Belize!

Our family of four went on excursions to both the cave tubing/zip line and to Lamanai. The trips were safe, well planned and guided by friendly, informed staff, and we had a blast. Both trips were full day, and included a boat trip(s) and a bus ride, so if you do these excursions, come prepared for hours of travel time. The good news is, there is friendly narration and chat, plus plenty of beer, snacks and rum punch.
