Lion Fish for lunch. First time we have ever eaten it. Extremely tasty. Its like a cross between halibut & red snapper. A nice white fish. Wonderful flavor.
Husband had fish & chips version and I had it grilled in a margarita sauce.
So glad to see that someone is actually using this fish for something. In case you do not know, it is an "invader" to the Caribbean, brought in by cruise ship holds and it is killing many of the local fish and has no natural preditors in the Caribbean so its wonderful to see that someone is actually killing them and using them. Maybe dive shops and areas of gtthe Caribbean are offering rewards, a bounty, if you kill them and bring them in. Besides they taste fabulous!!!!
