What a shock to find a trained chef (Judy Ann) and husband Tom operating a restaurant in San Pedro! Watch out for those great margaritas from Tom!
Even though the low season brings fewer customers, the Black Orchid offered wonderful lobsters accompanied by a 4 oz ribeye to our party. I had the grouper and it was terrific, but managed to sample my wife's lobster and beef. Desserts included carrot cake and chocolate cake. Super! Dolores was our server and she was attentive, quick to respond to all our needs. Nice selection of wines as well. Very nice looking restaurant and modern. They also serve iced water...others just give you a semi-cold bottle of water. Highly recommend.
