“I've traveled all over the world”

This is the by far the best option for the midrange/budget traveler that you will find. The staff is engaging and friendly. Cindy and Renita are very personable. The breakfast is awesome. As someone who has traveled all over the world, you will never find a better experience especially for the money.

OMG!! Loved the food, the service, the location. We didn't have to think about anything the owners had everything down, all I had to do was wake up and enjoy island life. There was a schedule of new activities on the wall in the kitchen everyday, all I had to do was choose, and the girls would set it up. I've never had better service, anywere, then I had at changes. I felt so lucky to have found this little gem of a B&B! Everyone is so nice and helpful, I felt so relaxed in town, and made friends with the local people. I could go on, but find out for youre self.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the courtyard.

The location is a bit south of town--good in terms of being quiet, yet a bit of a hassle if you aren't a walker like I am. The place is small, clean, and unique. The rooms and the outdoor lounge areas are very attractive, although the rooms are a bit small. What makes the place special is the attention to details everywhere. They prepare great breakfasts. They provide swimming privileges at the next-door Yacht Club. They have drinks available in the fridge at prices lower than the market price. They have the Sirius Margaritaville radio channel playing on outdoor speakers. They have comfortable lounge furniture outdoors. They have free bicycles to use. The whole staff tries to be helpful and informative, including the 4th grade "entrepreneur" they have hired to help with breakfast and chores.

I recently stayed at Changes in Latitudes new 2 BR unit that has great views and a fantastic breeze. The Toucan's Nest is very homey and comfortable, but the veranda was my favorite place to chill out and lay in the hammock. The unit can sleep 4 easily and have room for someone to stay on the futon if need be. The full kitchen was a plus so we could cook our fresh catch of snapper.

It's only a few steps to the beach and we had use of the pool at the yacht club, which is right next door. The owners were very charming and helpful in directing us to restaurants and booking our tours for us.

The breakfasts were all delicious. Esther, the cook, was so accommodating for any requests we made and Josimar was very helpful in getting us our bikes, which are free for the guests to use, and giving us directions for getting around town. The cozy dining area made it easy to make friends with other guests and share about our daily excursions. The courtyard is beautiful and so relaxing to hang out in and talk with the other guests.

My wife and I just came back from this spot and I have nothing but great things to say. The hotel is no more than a 30sec walk to the water and it gets pounded by the best breezes ever. It's a wee bit outside of town, but nothing a short walk or bike ride couldn't fix. The hotel itself is small and cozy. The rooms are a little small, but nothing to detract from the stay. They have a simple outdoor eating area and a small courtyard to chill in, which leads me to the best part of the stay....the people. The two owners are awesome. Down to earth, very friendly, and very social. We got to hang with them a few times and it was just great. We also made friends with another guest and every breakfast was a time to catch up, get to know each other better, and hang out.

Great place, greater people.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and had a great time. It is located just a few steps away from the beach, near a bunch of docks were you can do some great swimming and snorkeling. If you don't have any snorkeling gear there are a ton of places near by were you can rent it for just a few Belize dollars.....and I would recommend renting because the water burns your eyes without goggles!!! Every morning a tasty breakfast was provided with fresh juice and an entire pot of coffee. The staff is filled with awesome and wonderful people, all very friendly and helpful. They have bikes that you can take into the town for free, which is an awesome 5 to 10 min. bike ride. The ocean breeze and Reneita and Cindy can't be beat! The only thing I would say was somewhat uncomfortable were the mattresses....they were a bit old and thin with a few random springs popping up....but I would imagine getting new mattresses over are a pain in the butt. The other place we stayed in Belize also had uncomfortable mattresses. That aside, I would recommend this place in a heart beat and can't wait to come back.
