The Hol Chan snorkel site and Shark Ray Alley site (next door neighbors) show amazing corals, fish, rays, eels, sharks, turtles. I've done 100+ scuba dives in Ambergris waters and see 90% of the same thing when I take guests to Hol Chan snorkeling. Get there early to avoid crowds. I hire my own guide and go first thing in morning.

Wow wow wow! Worth the time and money! It was my first time snorkeling and there was never a dull moment! From sea turtles, to sting rays, to sharks and eels. You will not be disappointed!

A healthy and well maintained park. It is well suited toward snorkeling as well as diving. There's plenty to see in the shallows as well as deeper.

We've been to this park several times and each time see something new. Both of the guide companies we've used will ask you to pay the $10US entrance fee so have a few bucks on hand when you go.

The wildlife was plentiful, the water was amazingly clear and warm, and the soft coral vibrant. It was a bit crowded on the day we went, with scuba divers below and lots of other snorking vacationers. We saw eagle rays, sea turtles, green moray eels, many nurse sharks (from 2ft long to 7ft long), and lots of reef fish
