“Sea turtles, stingrays, and sharks-oh my”
Reviewed March 28, 2014

There are lots and lots of fish and sea creatures in a shallow, calm area of the reef. Make sure to bring your underwater camera!

“Excellent snorkeling!”
Reviewed March 28, 2014

It was my first time snorkeling and I couldn't have imagined a better place for this experience. We saw lots of marine life and had a wonderful time. There are several groups snorkeling/diving at the same time but everyone has space and it didn't feel crowded. A must go!

“If you miss it you should have your passport revoked.”
Reviewed March 28, 2014

Unforgettable. Sting rays, nurse sharks (harmless) turtles, moray eels, lots of colorful fish and coral... what more could you ask for? All up close and personal, even for snorkelers. The smaller the group, the more you get to see. There were just four of us and it was perfect.

“Best snorkeling of my life!”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

I've snorkeled in some amazing places, but the snorkeling at Hol Chan--without a doubt--is the best I've ever done, even with all of the crowds. It was so good, I wanted to go back for a second time during our week-long stay.

We saw tons of turtles, eagle rays, southern rays, nurse sharks, moray eels, crabs, and huge schools of fish.

Beautiful!
