We snorkeled here twice in the week we were in San Pedro. Perfect place to spend an hour looking at the most incredible variety of corals, fish of all sizes - including Nurse Sharks, Barracuda, Eagle Rays, Green Sea Turtles...

The first time we went by catamaran with SEAduced... 27 people, many of them blotto before they got on the boat. The poor guides had to drag a couple people around on floatation devices.

The second time we took the advise of almost everyone we met and found a small diver operator on the beach who was willing to take just the 3 of us (me, my wife and 13-year-old son) on a personalized dive to 4 sites for the same price as the big operator. MUCH better - saw tons of stuff we missed the first time around.

Definitely worth the trip! I could have snorkeled more than one time here. The coral is still making a come back from the big hurricane in 2000?, but the marine life is great!

Lots of variety!! Swimming with rays, turtles, sharks, and large fish!! Highlight of snorkel trips. Could have spent more time there.

Short boat ride to San Pedro, saw lots of rays and sharks. Corals and fish OK, but have seen better in Honduras, Bali and Thailand. Very disappointed to see guides handling the rays and encouraging tourists to pet them. We believe in leaving nature alone, not acclimatizing the wild creatures to man any more than necessary.

Went with Lil Alphonse and he knows his fish and had a wonderful time. I even held a 7 ft nurse shark and swam with it and when I go back I shall do this tour again.
