I experienced a very comfortable and enjoyable stay while lounging at the Belize Hutz and have highly referred this hotel to my entire family and friends. Clean rooms that are reasonably priced for someone that’s traveling solo or for a family that’s on a budget. The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the downtown area. The Hutz Grill chef prepared some of the best islander’s favorites and had me craving for more. The entire staff, especially, the owner’s sister was very friendly, sociable, and attentive towards making my first time visit to this Island, a memorable one. Keep up the good work.

The staff were very friendly and our room was nice. We enjoyed the location as there was a beautiful beach nearby and the walk to San Pedro along the beach is only 30 minutes. Our room had air con ,wifi and a hot shower. The only problem we had was that we were woken up on the first morning at 8am with really loud music which went on all day.It was like waking up in a night club. Other than that we really enjoyed the hut we had and would stay again. It was a good value and we enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: The rooms furthest away from the bar are quieter.

Spent 7 nights in March with teenagers for March Break. A very fun place, affordable, staff friendly and very helpful in organizing things to do and what to see. While not right on the beach, it was only a short walk away, or if you didn't feel like walking you could just grab a taxi right outside and get where you needed to go for 3.50 - 5.00 (Canadian Dollars). Food was good, fresh and reasonably priced - shrimp dishes and red snapper are recommended. The Hutz (room) were large, clean and beds comfortable. A great place to stay.

Room Tip: I liked the rooms at the back - the back lot is vacant, there is an easily accessible cloths line to dry your beach gear.

I've spent a lot of time over at the HUTZ simply because I love the friendly atmosphere and staff. The prices are ridiculously affordable. Great food, drinks, music, clean n' comfy accomodations and entertainment- travelling on a budget; this place is a 'MUST VISIT'

Friday Night Karaoke is my favorite ;)

Anyway, do yourself a favour and drop by when visiting the Island... you won't regret it.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are more quiet
