Outstanding chef, food, owners, service and above all the best and most creative food on any island I have ever been to--and trust me I have been to them all. This restaurant in NY or LA would require reservations 3 months out. Not to be missed! I read all the trip advisor reviews and, other than one that must be bogus or a jealous lover, it seems that everyone else who has dined here LOVES the wonderful gastronomic experience and agrees with me! Bravo to the owners for selecting such a fabulous chef. I cannot wait for my next vacation on Ambergris! Laura Anne

We decided to make Casa Picasso our first restaurant stop in San Pedro. We were NOT disappointed. The owners make you feel very welcome once you enter. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Given that we went during the low season, we were one of two tables that night. We didn't mind the quiet, romantic ambience, though. We ordered two of their signature drinks to start: Viejo Cubano and French 75. The drinks were a bit small for $16 BZ each. They tasted pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Next, we ordered tapas for dinner: The lobster sliders were AMAZING. One order only comes with three sliders, but they were all worth it. We also ordered pork belly. Those also came with three, but also totally worth it. The sweet and tangy sauce they use is similar to hoison sauce and went perfectly well with the taste of the pork belly's fat. Finally, we ordered the beef carpaccio. This dish has plenty of beef with lots of arugula, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, tomatoes. It is raw though, so for those of you who don't like the idea of eating raw meat, you should pass on this one. The butter crostinis were also a perfect pair with the carpaccio. For dessert, we ordered banana wontons. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this to anyone who loves ice cream, chocolate, cinnamon, and bananas all on one plate. Everything just melted in our mouths. Casa Picasso definitely started our San Pedro vacation on the right foot!

We always make a point when we are in San Pedro to go dine with Jackie and Adam. Two of the nicest people on the island. Food? Wow it is truly amazing food and the service is top notch. We have dined many times at Casa Picasso and will return many times more. We found the portions to be just right! Anymore and you would be so stuffed you would have to spend the night!

Thank you Adam and Jackie for the great job you do! We will see you and your staff soon.

Back on the island and had to give one of our favorite restaurants another visit. January 2013 seems like a long time ago so we were anxious to see what was cooking at the Casa. Last visit we only were able to sample the appetizers and martinis. This time, start with a perfectly blended Grand Mojito Martini at the bar. Bartender Nicolai is an excellent mixologist and takes great care with his libations. For dinner I started with an unbelievable beef carpaccio razor thin sliced and garnished and accompanied by garlicky toasts. For my main course I went with the special, a pan seared Belizean duck breast. Despite the fact duck can be way over-done, the breast was incredibly moist and flavorful. The best I have had anywhere, hats of to Chef Ben. The duck had a wonderful demi-glace and was served with goat cheese, herbed mashed potatoes. This was a true treat and even had a bit to take home and enjoy the next day. Thanks again to the folks at Casa Picasso for a wonderful meal.

We have eaten at Casa Picasso many times. Adam & Jackie are attentive, gracious hosts who make sure everyone in their restaurant is happy. The Rendered Pork Belly appetizer is our very favorite, and we have it every time. On our last visit, we tried the Lobster Risotto & the Mango Lobster Cannoli for the first time, and they were to die for. There are no words for the Molten Chocolate cake m-m-m-mmmm!
