We went for their barbecue supper which turned out to be quite disappointing the food was bland and at best average.

Ate here twice. First time was for dinner one night. The food was OK, average but nothing special. Decided to give it another shot for a late lunch. Still nothing really special. My sister raved about the special beans. The best thing going for Rico's is the outdoor seating. It is cute place. The wait staff was very nice. Cost was comparable to Hidden Treasure or Black Orchid but the food did not compare to these 2 places. Would I eat here again, maybe if it were for a quick lunch. I definitely would stop in for drinks to enjoy the view.

We ate dinner at Rico's the other night - they have a special BBQ menu on Tuesday and Saturday. I had the snapper which was very good, but the shrimp my husband had was just fair. Overdone, and brushed with a very sweet soya type sauce which was overpowering. Despite our asking for the chef to undercook our meals as we don't like our fish and seafood overcooked. Service was good and the outside seating is lovely. Mohitos at 2 for $10 BZ a good buy, but otherwise a bit expensive.

The food is really good - though a bit on the pricey side. We were lucky to be here during lobster season - so we indulged! Service is excellent!

We recently spent a week at Villas of Banyan Bay, which is where this restaurant is located. Over the course of a week, we had breakfasts there 4 times. What I noticed is that as we approached the weekend, our servor and our served food improved. On the Friday we left, our food was flavorful, nicely plated, and our service was excellent. Not so much earlier in the week. The food had been average till then.
The restaurant is on several levels and has good sized outdoor seating. The restaurant is clean.
We didn't find the food pricey but the menu shows pricey for dinner.
The best feature of this restaurant is its setting. The food could improve.
