very cool place, very good food. Right in the center of downtown, everyone recommended it and we were not let down.

“Freshly made food. Delicious too!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013

Our first meal in San Pedro was here and it was a good choice. My husband had the oven roasted garlic conch and I had the garlic butter squid. Both were good and tasty. Their coconut rice had a wonderful coconut scent and taste.
Their chef had been selected by the Belize tourism board to cook for Prince Harry when he was in Belize last year. So we had to come back for more. Had conch fingers for an appetizer (huge portion) as well as Mayan chicken (steamed in banana leaf) and elvi's lobster. The lobster was cooked just right, leaving it still tender. The chicken was still steaming when I opened up the banana leaf, a sure sign that food is prepared when ordered, not like at Blue Water Grill where my grilled chicken was so dry and was not even hot.
Wait staff were also super friendly and we also got to listen to a singer and guitarist while having dinner.

“Delicious Caribbean Food, a bit Overhyped”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2013 via mobile

Very nice ambiance, sand floors, attractive and attentive staff. The food was delicious, though.
They have an evening buffet that looks like a good value.
I had the stewed chicken with rice and beans. Tasty!
Price isn't top of the line, maybe $$$.
What I didn't like was the "hustle". I asked to take a photo, and the waitress immediately came over and asked me to post it on Trip Advisor and Facebook.
We were also asked to give them a favorable rating when departing the restaurant.
Granted, the food was quite good, but I wouldn't go back as I felt the pressure from the staff to publish positive ratings for them.

“Excellent local food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

We did not ant American food so asked our hotel for suggestions for local cuisine.
The food there was excellent and they had live music towards the end of our meal. Not cheap though.
Worth any try.
