“Great food and service.”

Don't miss this cafe. We tried this cafe for breakfast, coffee break, lunch and dinner and we can't say enough. The lobster was excellent as well as the suggested wine. Thanks.

“A real love/hate relationship with this place! Best coffee by far & the food was amazing (when the right staff were on)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2012

We ate here quite a few times including mornings, evening meals even our very sacred Christmas dinner!

This place is a great eatery with great staff and a proud and very creative chef, it just seems 1 in 5 times it can be miss rather than hit!

Overall day one was fantastic, service was spot on, capuccino was proper branded italian espresso, smoothie was very good, the breakfat croissant was bursting with our own requested fillings, it was a great start to the day and top marks.

The next day was like stepping into another restaurant, poor service, (lots of forgetting)coffee was bad, smoothie was returned and not paid for and the breakfast was not great, we left dissapointed. I was amazed what has happened overnight!?!

We cautiously and sneakily returned the next day without being seated to observe the food people were being served and it looked like day one!!! We were quickly seated and served instantly, in no time we had the breakfast from the gods once again (oh, and the coffee was once again, to die for!!!)

With our new found faith we decided to return that evening for our christmas dinner, and enjoyed every piece the food was creative, delectable and very reasonably priced!

We had a few more visits throughout the week, sadly one of the four visits was not up to scratch with poor service, coffee and food

For me this place could have top marks if the staff and chefs were always 'on the ball'.
Come on guys you have the oppurtunity of being the best!!!

Well worth a visit, but if it looks busily out of control..... smile and pop back later!

“Exceptional Food at Reasonable Price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2012

On our last night in San Pedro Town, we decided to treat ourselves to a really good dining experience so chose the Sail Away Cafe. When we arrived there was no one else in the restaruant, so we were skeptical regarding our choice. Our skepticism was soon erased by the exceptional service from the staff. The Sail Away Cafe is not a Cafe, it is truly a fine dining experience with white linen tablecloths, crystal glassware and a varied menu. The special the night we were there, was barbequed ribs with pineapple sauce glaze, grilled vegetables, and your choice of mashed potatoes, rice pilaf or french fries or pork chops (1" thick) cooked as you requested, with the same selction of sides. We ordered a bottle of wine with our meal, and the cost for two people was $53.00. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. So if your looking for a really good meal with all the creature comforts of home, try the Sail Away Cafe.

“Expanded menu.... great food!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2011

We visited this restaurant last night for dinner. They have recently expanded their space and their menu, with Rafi as chef, the food is outstanding, and the service even better!!

We had the Lobster Dip as an appetizer (exceptional), two variations of fettuccini, one with Alfredo sauce, and one with Marinara, along with the Pork Rib entree. They were all delicious and we even had to take some home. Although we were too stuffed to oartake in the dessert menu, the choices were incredible. We will send our guests and be back.

Great job!

“Great Spot!”

Went here for breakfast twice during our stay. Breakfast panini's, omelets and smoothies were perfect. Cheaper prices than most also. Free wi-fi was a bonus. Great Staff.
