The place was beautiful. Great service. The food was just as good there as any place we went to in town.

We stayed at Grand Caribe from February 15th to 23rd. Myself, my husband, and another couple stayed in B2. We are in our late twenties/early thirties. Our unit was a two bedroom, two bath and each bedroom had a queen or king bed. Everything about the condo was nice, new and clean. It was a first floor unit and faced out to the pool with views of the ocean also. We spent a lot of time on our patio- it was larger than some other units (possibly one bedrooms). The grounds were so nice and the pools were great. There's also a couple of hot tubs which are nice in the evening. Housekeeping came daily and did a wonderful job. They also did some of our laundry and returned it the same day. We ate several times at the pool bar. The recently expanded their menu and it has a pretty good selection. Most entrees/sandwiches are about $15 US which is a little more than in town but it's very convenient. The quesadillas, fish sandwich, and cinnamon roll french toast are all very good. The bar also has a large selection of drinks. We got drinks at the bar, but more often we just made drinks in our condo. Definitely buy liquor in duty free at the airport. We also bought some groceries- best places were the fresh fruit stands and The Greenhouse on Middle Street. Make sure you check expiration dates no matter wheere you shop. There's a grocery store that's just north of the bridge which is the closest store to the resort but is also much pricier than places in town. Soda isn't the cheapest thing, but they tried charging us $15 US for a twelve-pack of it. Another time we bought two 2 liters of soda and we realized it was expired once we got back to the condo. I wouldn't go there unless you really needed something quickly. The pool bar is open until maybe 10:00pm or so, possibly later if people are there having fun. I think they only serve food until 9:00pm though. We could here a little music some nights when we sat on our patio, but nothing too loud or bothersome. The resort is pretty quiet at night, nothing like an all-inclusive resort that we're used to. We had a golf cart for a week and this was the best part of the trip. It gave us the ability to just go, anywhere and anytime, which was a lot of fun. We explored north, to about Las Terrazas, and as far south as we could go. We went to town at least once a day. There is a bridge fee- $5 US round trip for the golf cart, but we didn't have to pay for gas. We did one excursion, snorkeling, that was booked through the resort. They said that they usually use Lil Alphonse, Seaduced, or Searious. We ended up getting Lil Alphonse and it was awesome. The four of us were the only ones in the boat. Highly suggest this. We wish we would have done it sooner so we could have gone twice. We thought the location was the best- close enough to town but not right in the hustle and bustle. We're younger couples who like to go out and we still found the location great. We went into town in the evenings for dinner and stayed out for a couple of drinks. We never felt unsafe in town or on our ride to/from town, although we didn't stay out too late (not past 11:00pm or so). Overall, we had such a great trip and a wonderful stay at Grand Caribe. The resort is one of the nicest we saw and the staff was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

My daughter and I went diving for a week on Ambergis Cay. We stayed in unit A4 at the Grand Caribe conds. It was perfect for us with separate bed and bathrooms plus a great oceanfront view. The unit was top notch and was in great shape- All the staff and the housekeeper (Jessica) were great-
Great pool and grounds; we had a couple of meals at Cowboy Dougs which was really nice. The complex is just north of San Pedro which was fine with us to be out of the congestion. The golf cart we had (included with the condo) gave us easy access to anywhere we wanted to go; Plenty of off site restaurants in easy walking distance- Overall a great place to stay

Room Tip: pick either ocean front or close- the septic system located on the road on one side makes constanct...

We had a great stay in a 2 bedroom unit. The units are beautiful, kitchen, bedrooms and bath rooms are large. The staff is helpful and friendly and helpful. The pool area is the nicest around and had plenty of chairs. We used the water taxi to go back and forth to town $5 each way fast and easy. Security day and night

My husband and I as well as two other couples stayed 4 nights in the beginning of Feb. We arrived at the end of 2 weeks of rain and the weather just turned hot! (30 degrees C.)
The resort was spotless! Very friendly and accommodating people. During the day everyone was out enjoying the island so we had the pools pretty much to ourselves. We stayed in 4a which our master bedroom and balcony is overlooking the ocean. The hosts really out-did themselves. They even provided novels, dvds, and beach towels! The rooms were cleaned daily and they offered laundry service. The pool bar was good, but pricey. Blended drinks were approx $10 US and Belikins were $5 US. (They are half that price in town)
We definitely picked the right area of the island to stay. Beach and water were super clean. Many resorts including a casino north of us to visit for drinks or dinner. A golf cart is definitely a bonus to have and the resort offers those for a fee. Water taxis run constantly so you always have transportation to and from the resort.
I would definitely recommend this resort and would stay there again!

Room Tip: Overlooking the ocean is amazing! We had a beachfront condo.

This was the most wonderful place I have ever been. There was a total of 6 of us, (3 couples) and we stayed in the 3 Bdrm/3Bath. High end appliances and everything was more beautiful than the pictures. Staff was soo awesome, everyone very pleasant and extremely helpful. I would stay here again without a doubt, next time we are in Belize. The beds were all very comfortable, I haven't slept that good in a long time. The internet wasn't working too well but after they replaced the router for us (very quickly), it worked great. The pool bar has decent food, but there are many places to walk on the beach to get some AWESOME food too. You don't need to go to "town" unless you need groceries. We rented a 6-person golf cart to get around as we were there for 8 days and it worked out great. Awesome stay, nothing bad to say at all.

I went to This resort to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was more beautiful than the pictures. The beachfront condo was beautifully decorated and very clean. There high end appliances, books, magazines, beach towels, DVDs I could go on but everything you need is provided. The staff was great. There were so many places to eat, drink and relax within walking distance. Waking up to the ocean view was more relaxing than I can begin to deacribe. This place is well worth the trip. Go! You won't regret it. I can't wait to go back!
