“Do the Gibnut”

Great local place with all the standard Belize menu items but all of them taken up a notch. Great food in a true local place. No AC, nothing fancy just home cooking Belize style. Try the gibnut just to brag to the folks back home that you did it. The conch fritters are great too.

“No disappointment here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2014

We went to dinner twice while we were in San Pedro and all of the food was great. The chicken and fish kabobs with mango sauce were exceptional. Wish we good get the recipe for the sauce. Excellent conch fritters. Good margaritas and top it off with the key lime pie. A little off the beaten path but take the time to find it.

“Good service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

We had great service from Farid at the bar and in the restaurant. Food was great! He made a sangria which was better than our resort's version by far!
As we have found in many of our travels, it's about the people as much as the food.
Nice little place with good food and service!

“Local cuisine with lots of options”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

The menu here had several things I wanted to try - its just too bad we didn't have the time on this trip to try more. The shrimp creole was really good and the mojito was a smooth addition to the meal.

“Quaint dinner spot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

We went to dinner on a Saturday night, and really enjoyed it! The place was not busy so it gave us a chance to chat with the waiter, which was nice. Their shrimp dishes were very good, no complaints! The nice part is that the portions are properly sized, so you have room for the frozen key lime pie they serve for dessert!
