El Fogon makes super delicious food with that unique smokey flavor. We loved their Rice and Beans and think they make one of the best Conch Fritters on the island! REALLY!

Because their food takes special preparation, it costs a little more but its well worth it! Plus, a long-time San Pedrano family owns the restaurant and their service is great! :D

If you visit San Pedro, do not miss a lunch at El Fogon. It is right beside the airport on an easily missed side street. It as the best and most unique local cuisine on the island. The owner (sorry, i forget his name) will walk around and chat with the guests. When we were there, the rest of the customers were all local workers from airport and nearby. They know where to eat! The grilled fish was great.

Every local we asked for restaurant recommendations told us we had to eat here. My boyfriend said the fish balls were the best thing he ate on our vacation. It's off the beaten path but worth a visit!

Excellent food in an authentic setting. Very reasonable prices. Extensive menu for a small restaurant. Don't miss this place.

El Fogon has the most authentic food on the island. It truly is a hidden gem. You'll find El Fogon tucked away by the airport. It's not the place for a fancy or romantic outing, but its perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. You'll find dirt floors and picnic tables add to the authenticity and charm. You have to try the conch fritters!
