Warugumas has great food no mater what you order, some of our favorites were the shrimp and lobster burgers and also the shrimp burito for 2. Prices are very reasonable.

A staff member of our hotel recommended this little gem on Middle Street! The food was DELICIOUS! We ordered a shrimp pupusa to start, but we got a lobster pupusa...no complaints here! It was really good, not to mention that the ladies are standing in the front of the restaurant making them street side! We decided to split the lobster burrito...it took up the entire plate and was covered with lobster and cabbage and sauce and stuffed with rice and beans. It was also really good and huge! I enjoy having wine with dinner, but in San Pedro, I never anticipate having wine, especially at smaller, more local places. They offered 4 or 5 varieties of wine on the night we visited (only one red was left, a merlot, so I opted for a glass of white wine). I ordered a glass of pinot grigio, and it was perfect (for me) with the lobster burrito. We heard that the service is slow; however, we did not think it was slow on the night we visited. However, one of our favorite things about San Pedro is the "slow" service (as compared to American standards), so even if our dinner would have taken longer, we would have enjoyed this place just as much if not more. A definite hidden gem!

I absolutely loved the lobster burrito. Large enough for two, stuffed with fresh, lobster meat in a delicious sauce, garnished with huge chunks of lobster meat around the plate and topped with two grilled lobster tails, YUM!!!

Goes down even better with a cold beer!

We found this little gem from our hotel staff they highly recommended this place & I'm glad we listened. Yes the service here is slow by American standards, but your on vacation & on island time so chill & have another cold Belikin. Come hungry because the portions are huge, especially the seafood burrito more than enough for two people. After 5:00 pm they have about a dozen varieties of papusas freshly made to order outside right in front of the restaurant. My favorite was the lobster papusa at only $3.50 USD! They also have plenty of vegetarian papusa options as well as vegetarian burritos. All the food on the menu was a great value. You need to try this place once to see for yourself!

The place looks like a hole in the wall, but they have pretty good tacos/burritos. Very affordable meals.
