We had a wonderful stay at Coco Beach Resort. The rooms are great, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. There is absolutely nothing not to love at this resort. We had a great view of the resort from our balcony. We rented golf carts to go into town a few times, and they were easy to rent and priced reasonably. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious and service was great. Spent most of our time at the pool and pool bar. All food and drinks ordered from there were very good, and we had a lot of fun with the staff there. Can't wait to go back again!

We travelled with a group and this is undoubtedly the best resort we have ever stayed at. The staff was incredibly friendly and never at a loss to help. We watched every day how hard they worked to keep the entire area so beautiful. Every possible need or wish was handled from check in to check out. Our two bedroom villa room was spacious and smartly furnished, with very new appliances...and the bed slept great. It was cleaned well daily, they even did our dishes! Without question Coco Beach is both a place we would love to do again and recommend to all.

Room Tip: The casitas are extremely nice but for a family the double room suites are ideal.

My husband and I went to Coco Beach for our honeymoon. This resort was just... wow. They take care of you the SECOND you enter Belize. Set up a hopper to fly us to San Pedro. Then once we got to San Pedro, a taxi picked us up from the airport and brought us to the complimentary water taxi. As soon as we got off the water taxi, our luggage was whisked away, and we were given a tour of the place with complimentary drinks in hand (ask them to spike!). It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Swim up bar, 2 restaurants, poolside service, and a 10 foot pool in the back with a huge rock structure to jump from. When we got to our room, there was champagne and towels in the shape of a heart and two swans that were covered in flowers on top of our bed! The room was cool and had a poolside view w/ a balcony. Room service was prompt and did a great job cleaning up the room. There were a lot of other honeymooners at Coco Beach and barely any kids. The kids that were there didn't bother us one bit. Another plus: you can book all of your excursions through "Tough E Nuff" on the dock and they just charge it to your room. It is about a 10 minute water taxi from town, but we enjoyed the seclusion! I have nothing bad to say!! Amazing.

Had a really good time. Accommodations were beautiful with a water front villa only 50 feet or so from the water. Lovely furnishings, full kitchen, double shower in the bath and the comforts of home. The grounds are very well kept. The pools are great with something for all tastes and varied activities. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful from the moment of arrival to the time of departure. Unlike some reviews found the food to be very good and the room service excellent . Arranged private water transport to town with a reasonable 50$ round trip fee for two and as I remember 100$ for eight. If you like to visit town this is the way to go as the road is a very rough ride in the golf carts. The recommended eating places were excellent. In summary not 5 start but a solid 4.5 for us. Will return as it is good value but not for those on a tight budget..

Room Tip: Get a 1 BR villa on the water

A friend & I stayed here 7/2/14 - 7/6/14 & had an incredible time! From the minute we handed our luggage over to Tropic Air, we didn't deal with it again until delivered to our rooms. Zoby greeted us at the dock with cool towels & rum punch, giving us a quick tour of the beautiful property.

From there the check in process was quick & efficient. Zoby showed us to our Casita (yes...it was worth it!) that was our "home" for the duration. From there we hit the pool & swim up bar. Deon was our favorite bartender, but all were great including Ostner & Joe!

I read reviews before going & will counter most. The water pressure was fine; the food at the restaurant was good as well. Pricey? Not given the convenience factor & understanding how much they have to import. The pools were clean...but yes, the beach entrances get a little murky - everyone has sand on their feet; nothing more.

Some great food everywhere we went! Ahi had wonderful lobster & AMAZING paella. Capricorn is known for their stuffed Grouper & it was incredible...As were the Stone Crab Claws (ask for 1/2 cold, 1/2 hot...best of both worlds!) Fido's in town was great too! Great lobster & Rolled Tacos...great prices too! And lastly, Rendezvous. It was ok, but not great. Given all the other incredible dining experiences, not impressed at all.

Overall, everyone was incredibly helpful, always smiling & just pleasant. It was a great experience that I intend to repeat hopefully sooner than later!

The staff arrange all of your transfers, starting at San Pedro airport. The water taxis are fast and fun, though aside from the transfers the schedules they run when you want to get back from San Pedro are a little spotty at night. Be sure to pick up the schedule or you'll be in town a bit longer than you may wish.
The staff greet you with a cool, fragrant towel upon arrival. They assist with everything. Everyone is friendly. We stayed in casita #1 and it was really nice. Perhaps a few bottled waters in the room would have been a good addition.
The beach is great, and the folks at Tuff E Nuff activities were excellent scuba and snorkel guides.
The grounds are cute and the pool is fun. Be sure to take the big jump from the rock in the middle of the pool, but don't go in head first--it's not very deep.
We ate dinner and a couple breakfasts at the main restaurant. The food and service were very good, though it was pricey by local standards.

Room Tip: Go for a casita. Very cute and lots of room. The main rooms are nice, and have balconies too, but...
