Me and my friends stayed at Coco Beach Resort March 2013. It's a beautiful, well-maintained property with great accommodations. We stayed in a 2 bdrm oceanfront villa and loved it. I'd return and definitely would recommend to others.

Room Tip: Definitely choose the ocean front location. Great views and you get wonderful crosswinds.

We stayed at Coco Beach in April 2013 and loved it. It's a beautiful resort, very clean, well-kept. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, it's convenient to San Pedro Town (via bike or golf cart, which you can rent easily at the front desk, or frequent ferry from the pier), and the setting is idyllic.
Diving, snorkeling, and other trips can be booked right on the pier via Tuff E Nuff tours. Their staff are spectacular -- friendly, accommodating, and knowledgable.
The on-site restaurant is a overly stuffy to fit in with the island vibe, but you can eat next door at Belizean Shores (also provides room service to Coco Beach) or head to town for more varied options.

Room Tip: C5 (a penthouse) has ocean and pool view and can be rented with either one or two bedrooms available...

We stayed in a 2 BR, 2BA 1st floor villa right on the beach (B1), for spring break in late March. It was only my husband and I since our 16 year old son could not make it at the last minute - tons of room and storage!! The villa was beautiful, incredibly clean, tastefully decorated, and had anything you needed if you wanted to eat in, which we only did for breakfast. If you are looking for quiet, stay on the beach, and avoid the pool areas since there are lots of kids and music (which is not bad at all really), but would be if you wanted to chill on the patio and read a book. Our son would have LOVED it though - kayaks and paddle boards within steps of villa, and the pool and rock/diving formation would have been a huge hit - little kids and teenagers of all ages seemed to make friends quickly and had a blast!!! Had rum, diet soda, milk, homemade salsa, yummy tortilla chips and other "staples" waiting for us in refrigerator upon arrival, delivered by Mata Grande Grocery - a must do, plus convenient if you have kids. Staff was fantastic - kudos to everyone there including Larry the Pool Guy who made you feel incredibly welcome and helped you with anything you needed, as well as Amy and Zoby. The reservation staff, especially Paula and Cat, were wonderful!! Rent a bike and ride it down the beach to San Pedro, stopping at The Palapa Bar for a drink, and for a few more in San Pedro. if you are tired and don't want to ride back, give the water taxi guys a good tip, and they'll take you and your bikes back. :). We did full-day snorkeling trip to Caulker Caye (including Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley) through Tuff-N-Nuff, then another full-day snorkeling trip to Bacalar Chico through Seadventures - both VERY cool!! Loved Wild Mango's, and Blue Water Grille was so so, in SP. Capricorn and Rendezvous, walking distance on beach from hotel, were good too. Mambos at Matachica Resort had awesome atmosphere, and they have a speed boat that picks you up from CB. Loved Coco Beach and will definitely go back with son! Have been to St. John's and St. Croix many times...the beaches there are definitely different than Belize beaches, but change is good!!!! You will not be sorry!!!!'

Coco Beach was everything we expected and more! My wife and I stayed for 7 days and we wish we would have stayed longer. Zoby was very helpful with reservations and made us feel right at home. They even had a complimentary bottle of campaign in our room when we arrived. Deon and Michael kept the drinks flowing at the bar and took such great care of us. The rooms were very comfortable and the beds were even more comfortable. Every morning Larry the pool guy was out every morning to greet us and always had suggestions on where to eat and visit. Go into town as much as possible. The people are so friendly on this island and the food was amazing. We are already planning our return with a group next year! Highly recommend Coco Beach.

Just returned from a 4 day stay at CoCo Beach resort is beautiful. The level of service is absolutely amazing. After a short boat ride, Zoby welcomed us once we arrived and there were drinks waiting which was a nice touch. If you like to hang out by the pool then book your trip now because you will not be dissapointed. The pool at the other hotels don't even come close. Note, pool has a slide so you and old alike will be splashing during prime time hours. Again, if you are a pool person this will probably not bother you. If however, you are a person that likes the beach and enjoy hearing waves crashing while you are relaxing on the beach, this may not be the place for you. Now, let me unpackage that statement. I was initially dissapointed because the water was very calm and there was a lot of seaweed which made walking in the water almost impossible. I think ultimately this type of natural water environment is what makes Belize the awesome dive spot which people flock to. I think the beach was exacatly what it was supposed to be even if was not for me. I did however fall in love with the hammock where I spent most of my time on the "beach" gazing at the calm ocean. I enjoyed this trip even if it forced me to adjust and rethink how to relax and enjoy.

Room Tip: 10A was close to the pool but away from all of the pool traffic

We just returned yesterday evening from a 4 night stay at Coco Beach Resort. From our first moment when stepping onto the dock, a staff member was waiting there to lead us to reception and take our bags. At reception a delicious rum punch was waiting specifically for us and we were given helpful information as we were shown to our room. Amy the general manager was extremely gracious and friendly and our room was just right! We had room 301 within the hotels which had a wonderfully comfortable bed, great A/C (important to us!) and a nice mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Beautiful shower and great US (and other) cable stations for our afternoon siesta times!

The pool was amazing with a fun slide (it's quite surprising to see all of the adults enjoying the slide!), water which stayed cool enough to always be refreshing (a problem we have experienced in other places) and lots of different levels/areas to lay on, sit on, have chairs in the water, etc. We loved Larry the Pool Guys help with umbrellas and our favorite food the entire trip was the Fresh Fish Sandwiches pool side for lunch. The bartenders and pool servers (Mac/Mike/Leon/deon) were wonderful! For a nice dinner (no dressy clothes necessary anywhere!) I definitely recommend walking down to O to eat also (grab a flashlight at the front desk for maybe a 10 minute walk along the water - quite safe!). We got some breakfast items from Captain Morgans (store right down the beach) and my husband walked to the Coffee Cabana each morning (5 mins) to get coffee. We also took the water taxi the 15 mins into San Pedro two times for food and souvenir shopping. The conch chowder at BlueWater Grill was delicious!

Definitely recommend snorkeling with TuffENuff while you're there. Hol Chan Marine Preserve And Shark Ray Alley are well worth it! We also enjoyed taking the (no charge) kayaks out as well (paddle boards and paddle boats also available).

Wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back!

My family and I stayed at Coco Beach Resort for 6 nights at the end of April. We had a 2 bedroom pool view unit which was located mere steps from the waterslide pool. A perfect location with children. This was an amazing resort with top notch service - especially from Larry the pool guy! Having a full kitchen was a definite plus and we ate most of our meals in our room. We used the water taxi, did not buy the pass as we rented the bikes through the resort one day ($5.00 per bike) and rode the 3.5 miles to town on the beach and rented a golf cart another day through Unbelizeable Golf cart rentals. Golf carting the island was a little overrated and hard on the back as the road to town is bumpy and it is slow going, but we got to explore a little more than we would have without one.
Booked a snorkeling trip through Tuff Enuff and went to Hol CHan and Shark Ray Alley - this is a MUST DO!
Ate at the pool bar once and it was so so. But we didn't stay at this resort for the food. We stayed for the pools, the service and the out of town atmosphere. Would return and would highly recommend.
