Description: There’s no pretense at a great taqueria! It’s the place where you get tacos, tequila, and a smile. PURE taqueria has tapped the essence of the traditional, beach-side Mexican taqueria and given it an extra helping of Southern hospitality. Atlanta’s best Margaritas, over 80 tequilas, and food that is fresh, authentic, and delicious! Colorful, loud, hip and friendly, PURE is a hit with Guests and critics alike.

“Always good vibe”
Reviewed June 15, 2014 via mobile

Been going for years. Drinks are always great. Banana margarita on the rocks...who'd of thunk? Along with the Tres Ceviche, need I say more?! The tacos are always a great choice. Never disappoints.

“Had Higher Hopes”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

First I will start by saying this restaurant has a good concept. Just need to perfect the food and service a bit. I ordered the guacamole to start. It tasted like it was prepackaged. I was hoping for from scratch. My margarita was very strong! They don't skimp there. I had the fish tacos which were average. I was dining alone and got good a strong feeling from my server that she wanted my to hurry up so she could reseat the table. They were very busy. So I ordered dessert to go. Tres Leche which was just ok. I was there for about 30 mins. My bill came to about $35 before tax and tip.

“Great Food - Better Margaritas”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

This is a great place to hang out, relax, enjoy some good food and some great margaritas. The atmosphere is very relaxed but the food is very good (try the ceviche trio, the fried calamari or the crab fritters for apps). Some friends introduced me to Pure a few years ago and it's still one of my go-to spots.

“Great Mexican food”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

Atlanta isn't noted for great Mexican food, but this restaurant is one of the very best. I especially enjoy their quesadillas which are similar to empanadas.

“A Favorite Spot in Alpharetta”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

Great margaritas and food in a cozy, friendly and lively atmosphere. Strong favorite among locals since it is just off the beaten path enough to be a well guarded secret with improved parking and easy access in and out. The footprint of the place is designed to have the feel of a renovated service station with garage like doors that open up to create and open air atmosphere when weather permits. Grilled chili-encrusted shrimp on corn masa cakes with guac and pico de gallo is served fresh and is a consistent favorite. Everyone that comes here has a different favorite and the food is always served fresh. You can't go wrong with the fish tacos. Watch out for julienned jalapeno peppers masquerading as green beans. They can pack a punch.
