We saw from the outside that this place always has a full house whether it is breakfast or lunch. We chose to eat at lunch and were very pleasantly surprised at the speed at which we were waited on and the time it took to get our meal. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Food was hot and the selection is unbelievable if you like Southern cooking. Several special are offered each day. Families are welcome and the prices are very affordable! We saw lots of people with fried chicken. I had country fried steak and would do it all over again. There was enough food that we were unable to eat everything. Rolls and cornbread are delicious and homemade. This restaurant has been owned by the same person over 20 years. The house was originally a landmark and was lived in by a large family. It was an interesting lunch and we would definitely return when we get back to this area.
