The Chinese might be good, but avoid the Thai. First, you get Chinese sides with your Thai dish. For some reason an egg roll, fried rice, and hot and sour soup doesn’t make it with Massaman curry. I want coconut soup, and steamed rice. And the curry isn’t so great either. Massaman is supposed to contain potatoes. This stuff has what appear to be frozen French fries thrown in. My Massaman curry looked like the Chinese chicken and mushrooms with a slightly different sauce. And the curry sauce didn’t taste like other Massaman’s I’ve had. It lacked the richness of coconut milk and the spice of the curry.
The wait staff is the stereotypical Chinese waiter, with little patience, barely polite, and just interested in turning the table. One person in our party just wanted egg fried rice and she and the waitress got into a circular conversation where she was told that she got fried rice with every lunch combo. My friend stated that she just wanted an order of fried rice; again, you get fried rice with every lunch combo. Finally my friend gave up and ordered some kind of eggplant thing. The wait staff is the stereotypical Chinese waiter, with little patience, barely polite, and just interested in turning the table.
If you must go here, stick to the Chinese offerings and don’t dare ask for anything that isn’t on the menu.
