“pleasantly surprised.. many great choices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2012

drove out of the way to the suburbia mecca of Alpharetta to taste a Paella with my dreams of Spain and the enticement of Sangria and Goat cheese strawberry salad with caramelized walnuts. with the encore of a chocolote chip bread pudding a la mode and a perfectly holed flan. Sabrina waited on us and was quite excited to recommend dishes. I enjoyed my paella valenciana that included langostinos, shrimp, chorizo and chicken on a tomato based rice with peas. Can't wait to come back for an encore...

“Loved this place!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2012

My co-workers and I went to this place and fell in love. We all travel for work so, we get to try food from all over. This is now one of our favorites.

We had the civichies, yucas and mushroom quesadillas as appetizers. All great. The vegetarian paella, seafood paella and seafood special were all big hits.

Deserts didn't disappoint either. I will defiantly have their quatro leches no matter how many calories are in it!

“Wonderful family owned and run Cuban/Latin gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2012

Recently stumbled upon this restaurant while on a business trip, staying at the Courtyard Marriott next door. Came back with a friend a second time a couple of weeks later. Sat at the bar both times. NIce ambiance. Pretty woodwork, pleasant lighting.

It started with the Mojito. I love a good Mojito, but all too often get mediocre ones if that. This one was fantastic. Made, as I learned from Alex - the bar-tender and son of the Cuban owners, who moved from Miami less than a year ago - with fresh squeezed Key Lime juice and lots of fresh mint from the garden in back.

Had tapas for dinner both times, and everything I've sampled has been unique and delicious. The stuffed potatoes were a surprise (at least to me) - balls of mashed potatoes, in a delicate browned outer crust and with a center of spicy ground beef. A slightly pan-seared Chilean Sea Bass skewer on a bed of deliciously spiced mini potato cubes, Fish Ceviche with a serious bite, mini cuban pulled-pork sandwich that was at once both simple and somehow remarkably delicious.

It's evident that the ingredients are fresh. The flavors are unique. Great spices, wonderful little sauces on the side.

Alex is really fun to chat with. He grew up in the family's restaurant and he knows everything about every dish.

Haven't been there for lunch (apparently they get a huge business crowd every weekday) or for Friday/Saturday night when they have live music.

I will be back for sure.
