Nice sized mall that is high end and not very busy. It seems the high end stores and prices drive away the local community. Even the food court prices are high end.

I like the mall because it's never packed. However the choices of stores are dwindling. They will need a revamp or they will continue to lose stores. However H&M seems to have moved to a bigger store and with AMC right there, they can survive with a little change.

This Mall is on the slow decline with many of the upscale stores moving to Avalon. I generally don't find it as clean as it used to be and certainly the visitors have changed. I feel it needs a facelift and some new stores of higher quality if it's going to compete, otherwise the decline continues.

My husband and I decided to kill some time while waiting to see a movie. The mall as a whole is clean with a range of stores, however the food court was another story with all the trash cans in the area, i counted at least 15. People left there food trash on the tables. The floors was a mess we couldn't find anywhere to sit to eat our ice cream sundaes. To compare the main area to the food court you would think you were in 2 different places. Won't eat here but will shop.

Very nice mall and the last of a dying breed.. nothing extreme, like Lenox and just your typical mall.. but, two levels and all of your major stores included.. a lot of children’s stores like Disney, Lego and more.. nice food court with good options.. AMC movie theatre.. and located around much much more shopping if you get out and about in just a couple few mile radius!

Good shopping mall with lots of shops including an American Girl store, Disney store and a few other good ones.
The food court is good and it has a great carousel for kids ($2 per ride). It also has a little train that goes around the mall.
Great atmosphere, good variety of shops and restaurants.

Big shopping mall with a good range of shops. Lots of parking. Wide range of eateries at the food court.

I love Avalon for the atmosphere, eateries, and movie theater but when I need to do serious shopping over a broad range of items, you just can't beat North Point Mall. Case in point, cool stocking stuffers for Christmas. I started at one end and just looped through all the floors hitting up places like GameStop, Mori's, and Brookstone on a Thursday night at dinner time and it was a breeze. AND, I noticed they now serve wine and beer at the Food Court! Woohoo! On top of my Xmas mission, it gave me the perfect opportunity to scan for a new blazer (found two at Dillard's on sale!) and see what kind of dresses are in stock right now. Last Christmas, I scored serious discounts with the Amazon booth in the center court. (Better than online.) I left shopping too late so online wasn't going to work for me this year. Up until that night, I was pretty sure Avalon would eventually put them out of business, but now I've changed my mind. In crappy weather and for economical shopping NPM wins. Plus you have Auntie Ann's Pretzels and the Godiva shop.... what more could you ask for? BTW, go up a level in the parking garage and you can usually park right in front by the stairs. Easy in & easy out.

Plenty of parking spaces. Good trendy stores, my favorite Sur la Table...great store for buying kitchen pots and pans and many other accessories. Sharon was very friendly and hospitable.
There were other stores traditionally found in malls.
Good size food court.

Despite the trend in building and creating outdoor venues for an updated shopping experience, indoor malls still offer the same convenience without the exposure to the elements. It's one-stop-shopping at it's best and the North Point Mall has continued to grow and change with the times, offering stores from high-end to moderate - something for everyone. The Food Court has been updated with contemporary seating and still features the legendary Carousel which is a big attraction for the little ones!
