Stopped by here two different times to have lunch with some friends. Both times the meal was served buffet style and included only two meat choices and a few veggies. I had the fried chicken and some veggies both times. Neither me nor my friends were impressed the first time, but due to the convenient location, we tried it again, with the same results. The food was just average.

I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 4 years. It is a 60 mile drive for me, but worth every penny. The food is prepared with love and will make you feel like you have sat down at your Grandma's table to eat Sunday dinner. Lunch is under $10 including your drink. Dinner is around $15 per person. The atmosphere is great. The buffet usually consist of collards, turnip greens, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, The BEST fried chicken I have ever had. Macaroni and cheese, rutabagas, dried bean, cornbread or a roll, a soup of the day and a cobbler that has the best crust ever. I have never had any prepared foods served. It is always fresh. Their food can't even be compared to Cracker Barrel. It is not a chain restaurant. The owner, Janice and the Chef Lee are the best you could meet. They always try to make you feel at home and will come by your table just to make sure everything is delicious as always.

During the week, you have the option of ordering from a menu. But most people visiting the Inn, choose the buffet. Plan on spending almot $15 a person with your drink. There are usually 3-4 meats, several salad options and country vegetables to coose from. Dessert is usually banana pudding , a cobbler and maybe chocolate cake if you are lucky. The hef does a great job of preparing tasty options and the staff keeps the buffet clean. Service has aways ben friendly and efficient.

Not de rigeur with the heavy food, but I love the multiple types of greens, well-seasoned, the homemade pickled beets, and superb fried chicken. Went for my birthday. If the buffet is too much food, you can order off the menu.
