Description: The Grill on the Alley Aventura is located in the Aventura Mall, which is ranked as the number one shopping destination among international visitors. The Grill on the Alley was opened in 1984 as a living tribute to the great American grills of yesterday. In time, it has established itself as one of the country's leading restaurants, praised by writers across the country. The menu is classic American grill - prime steaks, fresh seafood, traditional dishes such as chicken pot pie or meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and homemade desserts. Named to The Fine Dining Hall of Fame by Nation's Restaurant News, The Grill is home of the entertainment industry's "power lunch," but is also open for dinner seven days a week.

This restaurant is a lovely place for lunch or dinner. On a recent trip to Miami Beach we had the pleasure of having lunch there one day and we liked it so much we went back a few days later for dinner.

The Grill is very comfty with your choice of regular type tables and chairs or booths, which we opted for both times. The nice thing about the booths here is they actually pull them out so so there is no fussing getting in and out.

The restaurant atmosphere reminded me of the 40's style, had that feel to it...classic with a hint of glamour. The staff was attentive and the food was really quite good. I am not usually a fan of mall restaurants, but this one is not your typical stereotype mall restaurant. It was nice to take a break from shopping and sit and relax and have a nice meal. There is a wide variety of food to choose from and having their 'big carrot cake' is a must. Would recommend if you are out and about shopping at the Aventura Mall.

This is an alternative to eat different from the very commercial restaurants around. It is good, but is not outstanding, you can have a good relax seating place in the mall, do not expect good service an it gets outside. You have a variety of dishes, nothing excellent but you can have spinach, mushrooms, steak, fries etc. In here I will not recommend to have the complete dish, you can ask for the truffle hamburger (Kobee) with fries, just be aware that the meat can be frozen and cooked immediately, let know the waiter that be carefull with this!

Been to South Florida 3 times in the past year and have hit this place every time. Great food, eat outside if you can, their chicken dishes are outstanding! Look forward to going again.

Amazing! Eat here. Drink here. Come in as guests and leave as friends with the entire staff! See Jordan, for great drinks. See Garfield, for funny jokes and menu selections (the lamb chops and crab cakes were top notch...and the carrot cake will melt in your mouth!) Talk to Paul about the best desserts and meet the head chef, Chad, who personally greets guests at the bar. Learn about the history of The Grill from Philip, the GM...and you'll come back twice in one day just like we did!  Hands down the best SERVICE and SERVEFAST we've had. This was our first time to this restaurant as its the one and only in Florida. Thanks to everyone for making this dining experiment an actual dining experience! Can't wait to see one open in Orlando soon!! Cheers with the best wine...6-42!

We reserved on Open Table. The hostess ignored our request for a quiet table and seated us near SIX out of control screaming children. Fortunately, we were moved. Our prime NY strip was excellent ($44); the lobster bisque ($9) was good; the shrimp cocktail ($18) was barely average, five overcooked or old shrimp. The sourdough bread is too sour. The tasty steak was cooked to order with perfectly steamed broccoli, a nice suprise since little is free in a steakhouse. The mashed potatoes were good. Alas, the wine is grossly overpriced. We had to pay $55 for a chianti that retails for $15. That is shameful and unnecessary. I would recommend you buy wine by the glass since all the wines are overpriced. The restaurant is classy, and if you are going for a great steak, it's a good choice. The waiter was very professional.
