Description: A Modern American Steakhouse, BOURBON STEAK Miami offers contemporary American fare with a focus on all natural, organic and hormone free cuts of beef poached and finished over the wood-burning grills. The restaurant also features Michael Mina's Lobster Pot Pie as well as the ever-popular Duck Fat French Fries. BOURBON STEAK'S striking design was created by internationally renowned architect/design firm, Tony Chi and Associates. A dynamic twelve foot high glass box entry provides a dramatic welcome to guests. Comprised of a number of different spaces, the breathtaking 7,600 square foot restaurant includes The Tavern, a casual dining space fed by the energy of an adjacent bar, a wine cellar and lounge, a large glamorous dining room with glittering mirrored walls and a "glass box" private dining room. There is also an additional Tasting Room with a private garden.

We enjoyed everything about Bourbon Steak. Welcoming staff, strong drinks, fantastic food. We are not big eaters and chose to share some items, and our waiter (I'm sorry that I don't remember his name) was gracious in accommodating us. A lively atmosphere, which we prefer even with fine dining. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. We will definitely return.

The decor is cosmopolitan and contemporary. It is nice to have an upscale option in a resort. There were 11 of us and they seated us in a private room off the main dining room. It was all glass so private and quiet, but inclusive to the rest of the restaurant. Service was excellent. We started with cold seafood platters. They were beautiful and delicious. I had the sea bass which was a small portion, but very fresh and plenty after having an appetizer. Steaks are the specialty of the house and my husband thought his was good. However, we are midwesterners and he didn't say it was great. I failed to mention that they presented the table with small orders of 3 different seasoned french fries and 3 different sauces. While you might push back on bread, everyone tried the fries and they were terrific.

We did not actually get to try the steakhouse side of the restaurant but in their bar area they serve a very limited range of burgers, but which we all agreed were historic ! It was pricey but worth it. The service here was also extremely good.
We greatly regret not having a steak here.

Husband and I had dinner here recently. I started with shrimp cocktail. Huge shrimp, fresh and delicious. H had the NY Strip which was expertly prepared and very good. I don't eat meat so I had the Truffled Mac n Cheese and the Broccoli. Both prepared beautifully and scrumptious. Glad they still bring out the fries with the three dipping sauces. H also had the Choppino and said it was a bit bland. Still a wonderful restaurant.

We are "regulars" at the Bourbon Steak in Scottsdale. They don't serve prime steaks and they have some song-and-dance about grass-fed not being prime. Well, that didn't stop this branch. Their steaks WERE prime (and priced accordingly) and delicious. We had a number of sides and they were all good as well.
