“Great food, great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2014

When we are in town we always get to Seafood Kitchen at least once. Our past visit we were here 3 times. The food is quality and the portions are always enough for a box to take away. When we bring our 3 yo grandson with us, the waitresses always make sure he has some applesauce & recommend a good meal for him. When I have the steamed oysters they're perfect with the strong horseradish loaded along on a cracker. If you are there toward closing time you will see the waitresses wiping down the menus. It makes me wonder how many restaurants clean their menus.

It is a nice place to go out and have some seafood. I ordered the Seafood Combination and it was delicious. 10/10 experience. Great food, great staff and nice place to eat.

“Always good 28 years and counting”

Melody was really great waitress. Food always wonderful. Went to dinner somewhere else 3 days ago because we didn't feel like driving, regretted it so much we had to come here just to clear away the poor choice we made.

“Seafood Delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I with our best friends visiting the area and we came here for seafood. Our friends had been here before and recommended it. The food was outstanding. The portions are huge,we even have plenty of leftovers. You can get your seafood grilled, fried or even blackened.
If you are in the Jacksonville area this is a must for a really great seafood meal.

“The place to eat seafood at the beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2014

If you come to Jacksonville's beaches looking for seafood, you would do well to find the Seafood Kitchen. It is at the corner of Atlantic Blvd and Royal Palms Dr. It is not on the main road so you will have to turn south onto Royal Palms and an immediate right into the Kitchen's parking lot. They fry shrimp, oysters, scallops and fish the way it should be. Or if you don't want fried, try the crab meat stuffed flounder. It is simply the best. There are always a few people milling around the counter waiting for to go orders. There are mounted fish on the wall and a well lighted room full of happy diners. The waitresses quickly deliver the piping hot food and they smile and call you darlin' or sweetie. It is down home dining. There is draft beer and wine served in plastic cups. The most expensive item is the platter..$18, I believe. My wife and I usually split one and still have fish left over. What more can I say? Many people look for this sort of place when they vacation...the off the beaten path joint where "the locals" eat. If this is you, look no farther.
