We sat outside and enjoyed the sound of the ocean, but that is where it stopped. The waitress was rude and inconsiderate. It was a Thursday night and the place was dead. No reason for a flippant server. Save your time and energy bd go to the pool. That menu is palatable, even if it does come from the same kitchen! The pool staff are terrific! The waitresses in the restaurant could learn a thing or two from them!

Went there today for lunch with my daughter. We had the Avocado Soup, which was different. A warm avocado soup with tomatoes and onions sprinkle and sour cream. All we could taste was the lime and cilantro. She had the Scallops which we were told were Bay Scallops and were not. I guess the server did not know the difference. They were dusted with coriander and tasted like they had sand on them. We thought it might be a spice. When they brought the scallops out, there was a large onion peel mixed with the greens. Not sure how it got on the plate. The portions seemed more like an appetizers and not the main course. I had the Lobster Roll Slider with Vanilla aioli and a sprig of celery leaf, Bread and butter pickles and alfalfa sprouts on the side. The vanilla aioli was a little too strong tasting, so I could not taste the lobster, which was cold water and very little of it. They also served wilted sweet potato fries with a black one right on top. The food was edible but for the type of restaurant, I expected better. And there was not much food on the plate. And for those prices the servings were small and I expected better. Don't think we will be going back. Better restaurants and value for your money at one of the many other local restaurants at Atlantic Beach. Again, it was okay but not great. The restaurant/hotel is beautifully decorated. We had a view of the ocean and there is also outside seating. The service was great. Maybe another choice from the menu might be better or go for supper menu.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dining experience last evening at Azurea. We had outstanding service from Anita and Stephen who provided excellent service and recommendations.

We had the chef's signature crab cake appetizer and it was spectacular. The crab cake was delicious and had the most amazing sauce that complemented it along with sweet collared greens along with different types of tomatoes that were special enough to be an appetizer alone. The breads were amazing with four different condiments - sea salt butter, tomato jam, oil and balsamic, and sundried tomatoes and olives. All of these complimented the breads of pumpernickel, sour dough, and flatbreads perfectly! The tomato jam and sundried tomatoes and olives were both amazing and should be sold in grocery stores. We ate every bite since they were soooo delicious.

We also had the fresh peach salads with Greek yogurt dressing. The salad was full of wonderful flavors, the fresh dressed greens, peaches that had been carmalized along with candied pecans and feta cheese - yummy.

Our entrees were amazing! I had the sea bass and it was the best ever! The sea bass was grilled perfectly and was over a bed of mashed potatoes that were delicious and they were presented like a sea shell. The lobster mango salsa on the side was delightful. My wife had the diver scallops and they were prepared perfectly. We split a side of sautéed spinach and it also was cooked and flavored perfectly. Both of these entrees were outstanding.

While we were completely full from the full course meal, we knew we had to share a dessert. Our server recommended the key lime slider and it was light and delicious. The slider was similar to an ice cream sandwich - a crust made of gram cracker and macadamia nuts with key lime ice cream in between. It was tart yet sweet and very fitting for the end of the meal. In addition, the dessert was accompanied with a delightful chocolate dessert - a chocolate ganache base with cream cocoanut center and dark chocolate over the outer covering. Think of the best almond joy ever!

Our servers were super and this was a great experience! I highly recommend this place!

Visiting family on vacation in Jacksonville, we went to Azurea to have a nice dinner before flying back home. The service was extremely attentive. Our server was bright and funny. The food was excellent. I had the Berkshire Pork Duo. A delicious double pork chop with pork belly. OMG. Every dish we ordered apps to dessert was excellent. I can't wait to go back when I'm in town.

We live locally and we decided to give Azurea another chance while staying at One Ocean- that was a $400 mistake . The service was slow and terrible . They said they were busy... But had 50% of the tables vacant .... They must be understaffed, because there was no excuse for the staff to be MIA.

Worse than the service was the entrees , the bison (45$) tasted like unaged prime rib and our other two entrees were too salty . One member of our party sent their food back and the second attempt was better .... But the food was still not good . Sadly, i can't even say anything good about the dessert .... Just poor .

Needless to say we will never be back and will never recommend Azurea.
