“Much Better than the Average Hotel Restaurant”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

We had a very enjoyable evening at Azurea. Our food was very well prepared and the service was excellent, even on a night they professed to be understaffed. Azurea is deserving of its high rating.

“The Best in Atlantic Beach”

Pretty much whatever you ask for is going to be great, the only con is that for us who like to eat a lot, getting this fancy food with only 3 scallops is not even an entree... LOL

“Fantastic food!”

The pork tenderloin rack was really well done and the scallops were outstanding...I loved the "sampler" dessert!

This restaurant was in our hotel. The food and service was excellent but it is on the pricey side. the menu had a very small variety to choose from but the Parmesan/Artichoke soup was fabulous!!!

“Excellent meals every time!”
Reviewed June 26, 2012

We have eaten at Azurea every four months for two years and every time we have had a great meal! The food is what I will call a mix of California and Coastal Cuisine - filet, duck and other meats for the carnivore and many seafood options for others.

Last time I had the duck and it was to die for! My husband had scallops and they were also excellent. The sides that come with them are also top notch - there is a lot of care taken in making every aspect of the plate.

Tips: 1. Bring your own wine. They charge a corkage, but I always would rather have something I know is good than order off a limited wine list that I am unsure about. As I know about wines, we are fine if we forget, but it's nice to know that you can bring it.

2. Although the souffle is usually just on the Tasting Menu, if you want it, ask for it when you order. I've had this wonderful treat every time!

3. If you're not ravenous, don't order an appetizer and save room for dessert. They bring you a cornucopia of breads and lavash with a tray of four condiments: Vermont butter, olive oil and balsalmic, olive tapenade and hummus....plenty to take the edge off your hunger and not fill you too much before the excellent meal!
