Great atmosphere...burgers are delicious. Rum jumbies are the best! Greatwhen there is live music outside. Otherwise it's too crowded inside. Old Florida experience at it's best!

We have visited this place twice on lovely hot weekend afternoons. The beer is cold, the music is hot
and the service is friendly and fast. Last time we took our year old Golden for some socialization ( on a leash ) and we were immediately offered a bowl of cold water and doggie treats. We'll be back!

Enjoyed the live music and rustic decor. Felt like I was in old Florida. Recomended by local Hotel to go for lunch. Food was great. Nice bugers and beer. Next time I think we will take an air boat ride.

I’m not sure where to start in describing the Nav-A-Gator Grill.

The Navigator was an interesting stop. We traveled there on a friend’s boat up the Peace River from Ponta Gorda. It was a fun boat ride with many scenic views of wildlife, especially birds. The Nav-A-Gator is located upstream and for a moment I thought I heard banjo music...

The restaurant had a rickety old boat dock with several open slips for transients. If you go there b boat, be sure to follow the channel markers or you will run aground!

Next to the dock is an outdoor pavilion and at first I thought this was the restaurant but it actually was an outdoor bar with horseshoes and plenty of friendly bikers. Closer to the road was the main building with an outdoor stage and table seating in the back. The bar is a fun and interesting place with many odd signs and displays.

We were there with a group of 12 and sat outside where there was a one man entertainer. I ordered the grouper sandwich. It was good but a little pricey compared to other restaurants on our trip. Everyone in our party enjoyed the place and liked the food. There is a gift shop with local novelties and a huge display of antique outboard motors as well as what appeared to be a stuffed buffalo.

Our server – Susie Q did a great job. She was friendly and made our experience interesting. If you are in the area, this is a definite place to stop, relax, and enjoy the surroundings.
