We've been going to Ray's fish n chips since they were in their old location and they've just improved with age. From the coleslaw (with a touch of jalopeno added) to the clam strips (which actually taste like clams) and to the fish n chips, we've never been dissatisfied, not one bit. It's a nice neighborhood joint that's most busy on Fridays. I almost wish we hadn't turned so many people on to the place, but you won't regret your choice to visit. Oh, and the live maine lobster is very good too!

Service terrible, prices very high and not worth what u get. Food was over cooked. Great fries and Cole slaw. Seemed to us no one knew what they were supposed to do. Other people came in way after we did and got served sooner. Our orders got served one person at a time. One thing now then another later to someone else.
Keystone cops!

We went on a Friday. We fully expected to wait. We did, but it wasn't as bad as excepted. We ordered based upon recommendations from the wait staff. The quality wasn't exceptional, but overall it was a good meal. If you eat here stick with the recommendations from the staff.

Stopped in a few months ago with the family for some lunch. When we sat down there were only about four other patrons. Gradually folks filtered in, realized there were only two employees working, perhaps a third in the back (not sure). Once we were able to order, we tried the signature fish and chips, the fish was good, not too heavy on the batter. The fries were about what I would expect, better when soaked in malt vinegar and salt. Overall it was just average, but the turn-off was the incredibly slow service. Once done with the meal, we actually joked about walking out since nobody would bring us the check. I suppose another day with more servers might have changed the review.
