I had very high hopes for Circles. There is certain enough to like that we'll be back. Still its good to know some of the highs and lows.
First, I visited with my family (of four) and dog...the staff was very nice in offering water dish for dog.
Second, we left with a $95 dollar bill after tip...and that included two kids meals and adults splitting an entrée. So with those sorts of rates, the quality of food must be exceptional. Some items fell short. The lobster bisque was forgettable. The grouper bites (appetizer) lacked flavor. The kids meals were both only half eaten, with the chicken strips not meeting the 7 year old's usual benchmark. The colossal shrimp, however, was superb. It had nice garlic mashed with fresh green beans.
The two mai tais were decent, but expensive.
Overall, the entree was the highlight and everything else was average, at best. I can see good reason, though, to give Circles another shot.
Service was good....no issues. We ate outside (w/ dog), and our next visit will likely be inside at one of the gucci tablecloth tables.
