My family and I came to this fantastic restaurant twice during our week long stay in Sarasota. It is situated in the most perfect and idyllic location on Anna Maria Island. The service is amazing, and the staff cannot do enough for you, taking time to explain each dish on the menu for you. They don't take bookings, so my tip is to get a table at around 6.30pm or 7pm (or slightly earlier if you have younger children) and ask for a table in the sand area. Try the soft shell crab to start, followed by blackened grouper or cobia....then wait for the sunset. It is magical. The staff go around each table asking people to predict when the sun sets, which makes for a really fun evening. Drinks wise, I recommend their local white wine, named Lola - fresh, dry and a perfect accompaniment for any of the fish dishes. They also do a mean mojito and their deserts are huge. If you go to Anna Maria or Sarasota, your trip is not complete without dining at this lovely little restaurant. They also have a cool shop which sells lovely clothes and souvenirs. Go go go there!
