We went as a party of 8 on a Friday with 5:30 PM reservations. The experience did not disappoint. The atmosphere was lovely...low lights, lots of glass and peaceful for a rather large restaurant. We were there for a wine tasting and had a choice of white or red. In a short time, we each received three half-full glasses of wine. The name of the wine and what flavors you might expect...cherry, blueberry etc. were written on a white collar attached to the stem of the glass. After tasting and comparing notes, each of us decided which wine we'd like to have as a full glass. With the wine came a choice of 5 flatbread appetizers. They were delicious and ranged from a typical pizza variety, artichoke and feta cheese, steak and mushroom & the best, hands down, the fig and cheese. The flatbread was sizable, so it was "dinner". The tasting ended with a dreamy dessert served in a glass....mocha macchiato, chocolate peanut butter mousse, red velvet cake. It was a relaxing evening with very good, attentive service. The concept of a wine tasting was an excellent idea by "think tank" at Seasons 52.. it made for great conversation and much laughter. Our bill for two with an extra glass of wine on the tab was $45. This wasn't just another dinner out, but an evening experience to experience.
