“Fantastic place for a weekend family gathering”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2013

We stopped by the Elephant Trail shortly after they opened in this location with 11 family members. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, the food was delivered in a timely fashion, and the food was delicious. This location offers much more space than the location at Old Avon Village.

For large parties, ask for the room in the back. I'd definitely do there again.

“New location but still great Thai cuisine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2013

Go early of be sure to make reservations. This is a VERY POPULAR restaurant. Even on Monday evening it was packed, proff that the food is excellent and a great value. I'll go again for both business and personal dining. But please note...only wine and beer.

“Average Thai”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

Read a few reviews on tripadvisor and decided to pop in for lunch. I am a big fan of Thai cuisine. Had the chicken red curry lunch combo. The salad was ok, the spring rolls were dry, hard and lacked any flavor. The curry was average. My guest tried the pad thai. He went with the soup and said it was not good. It was the first time I had ever seen him not finish pad thai. It was because it was not good. He felt the same about the spring rolls. We ate very little, in fact I had one bite of the curry. We did not have it packed up. The staff was slow and slower. Will not be back personally.

“New location, same good Thai food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

The Elephant Trail Thai restaurant that was in an Old Avon Village storefront just moved to a new, larger location on E. Main St. (Rte 44). The dining room is attractive and inviting in a space 4-5 times larger than the former location, with pleasant accent walls and Thai art scattered about. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent. I enjoy the Tom Yum soup and the various curries; my wife likes the Pad Se Ew and the traditional Pad Thai. Prices are moderate. This place was one of our local go-to places in the old location, and we're enjoying the new place even more.

“A Real Treat at a Great Value!”

Small and cozy Thai restaurant in suburban Connecticut. Absolutely delicious Thai food at good menus. Try the Pad Thai and their wonderful appetizers.
