A good inexpensive lunch. Souplantation runs this chain. All fresh ingredients and tasty. They also have a large variety of soups. Desserts were just OK.

I am always cautious of buffet places because they tend to have pretty low quality food or limited selections (after all that is the only way they can make a profit). However, I was a bit surprised by the decent variety of items in the salad buffet, including some pre-made salads or a build-your-own option that included uncommon buffet items like beets, broccoli salad, and quite a few dressings to choose from. The soup selections didn't have any outrageous choices, just a good mix of the staple soups (broccoli cheese, potato, chili, etc.). The bakery area had a few different types of bread / rolls, and some baked cheese-pizza like breads. The option of getting a to-go meal was decent, but I opted to dine in. Seating was a bit limited given the popularity of the place, but table turnover seemed pretty rapid. I came in, got my salad and broccoli soup, ate, had a small bowl of frozen yogurt, and was out of there in less than 20 minutes. For 13 bucks, it is pretty difficult to beat the above average salad, good soup, and variety of options.

For less than $12, including drink, you can eat as much different fresh, wonderful salad bar plus pastas, baked potatoes, at least five types of homemade soup, breads, and dessert. Definitely a deal for seniors and kids, too.

Although prices seem to have been going up over the last year (maybe my imagination), this place is still the best salad bar around. Muffins and breads are also always very good. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for most of the pastas, potatoes, and soups. The pasta itself is usually undercooked to allow additional cooking time in the serving pot and the sauces are bland/bordering on tasteless at best (even the spicy marinara). The mac & cheese is the saving grace among the pastas. It's also bland but always well prepared and super cheesy!! A little salt and pepper and you're set. Overall, the selection from salad bar to soup to dessert is very good and includes something to please most anyone. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable with both booth and table seating. Very family friendly.

The place is clean. The food is good. The price is right. The buffet was set up in a manner that you could make a salad with ease. Plenty of great dressings.
I would advise checking everything out first. The soups are the last isle. Something not to miss out on by filling up on salad. And of course, don,t forget
the desserts.
