We stayed here one night on our way to Estes Park. We had tickets to a Rockies game in LoDo but couldn't find anything affordable down there. This is an average BW. I've found that you can count on the BW brand. A few days before our stay the manager called to make sure I knew I'd reserved a smoking room. I thought that was nice. Although it was a smoking room you couldn't tell.

Lobby is nice but once past that seemed very average. Could make improvements that would elevate this place to good yet doesn't seem to be happening. Dated rooms especially chairs, tables and fixtures. Pool looks okay yet with hours only from 9 am to 9 pm only made it there for 20 minutes one evening. (They lock the door and turn off the lights.) Front desk staff in the evenings smelled like weed. Both stair systems have the most foul odor that I can't quite place other than like natural gas.Worse in the North stairs. Odd bump out type things in the hall must cover some of those pipes that run in stairs. Doesn't look like stairs get cleaned. Good thing is the room was very quiet. Must have sound proofing or be well built. The air conditioner worked really well. (So good in fact it can get cold if you leave with it running.) Breakfast was fine just not much variety if stay more than one day.

We have stayed at this Best Western many times now and have always had an excellent experience. The staff are all very friendly, the breakfast is very good with ample choice, the beds and pillows are lovely and comfortable, the hotel and the room are always very clean and inviting, there is a fridge and microwave in every room which I find particularly helpful. Mr Anjou Patel, the manager and his wife are always so helpful and welcoming, we will be returning again in September

No one was at the front desk when we arrived around 5 pm on a weekday. There was a number to call to get front desk service. When Tim came to the front desk, it seemed like we had certainly interupted Tim's other preferred activities. We were there to investgate housing options for future travel plans. We were were told to contact the day manager in a manner that was such a turn-off that we declined to pursue this lodging option any further. This was particularly acute as we had just come from the Best Western Plus Airport on Quebec and had quite the opposite experience. We will use the other area Best Western instead due to the better customer service and a better price.

Entirely non-smoking hotel - this was great. One of the nicest Best Western's I've stayed in. The beds and pillows were fantastic. Room very clean, bathroom is a little small, but overall a great place to stay.

Room Tip: If you're looking for a good night's sleep, the beds and pillows are gerat

We have had a wonderful experience during our extended stay at the Gateway Inn. We have been there for over a month while my son is being treated at the Colorado Children's Hospital and Anju-the manager and the rest of the staff have been so good to us.
The hotel is always immaculate and everyone is extemely friendly and professional.
They seem to have a lot of return customers, and I can see why.
I highly reccommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Aurora area.

Room Tip: Our room with only 1 king bed does not have a sink outside of the bathroom, and so there is absolutl...

OK. The room was clean (slight anticeptic smell, not too bad). 2 queen room. No comfy chair or couch (my own personal bug-a-boo) but the 2 wood chairs have decent cushioning. Very attentive staff. Beds are pretty good, and pillows excellent. My BIG complaint with this place is the FAN IN THE BATHROOM IS EXTRA LOUD. If they could do something about this (which I believe is a complaint with all the rooms here) this would be an excellent hotel. The neighborhood has lots of restaurant and shopping options within walking distance. (Helgas's German Rest; her gut, ya?) I would suggest a drive down Colfax Ave. for many and varied ethinic options (we ate at a decent Polish rest. and counted 3 Ethiopian restaurants. Who know they had ethinic quisine? Also lots of other options). All told, I would stay here again if I can do it on points, but will look for another option if they don't fix the fans.

Room Tip: (HINT: do NOT get rooms 201, 301 or 401 as your window is adjecent to the light outside. Can be ann...
