Booked this hotel on Priceline at a GREAT price. Staff was great. The hotel was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had a few hot items plus the usuals of cereals, pastries and such which was a nice start to the day - for free. The location was super for us. It wasn't far off the highway and was in walking distance to an entire shopping area with restaurants, movie theaters and even a Walmart if you needed it. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Although this Marriott hotel was very clean and the room was up to the Fairfield Inn standard, it was taken over by Marriott after the previous owners who built it failed. The location is great and the staff are very courtious and helpful. However, there are some lingering construction issues. When we were there the hotel had close to 100% occupancy and apparently two of three hot water boilers were OOC. The result was very cold showers in the morning. Also, the telephone equipment room on the second floor was not properly vented to the outside and as a temporary measure, a vent was cut into the door to the room from the hall. The result was a very warm (at least 85 degrees or more) 2nd floor hallway.
With these problems, it is a good place to stay. My only recommendation is that when you make reservations, confirm that the 2 hot water boilers have been repaired and ask to stay on any floor other than the second if the telephone equipment room venting has not been fixed. Without those two concerns, this would have been at least a 4 star rating.

Room Tip: Stay off of the second floor

My wife and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn while I was wrapping up a business trip. For the most part, this is a nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were clean and average. However, it is in a great location as it is adjacent to a shopping plaza. In walking distance you could find restaurants, a mall, bookstore, a movie theater and more. Plus it is just of the 470 toll road. I would stay there again.

Stayed here last Friday for my nieces 16th birthday. The staff could not have been better. The hotel is located on the grounds of Southlands Mall. The rooms and public space were spotless. The only thing that surprised me was that the room tv remote batteries were dead. As a note I found the breakfast room was well set and the food was very good. If your coming to Aurora on business in the area and like a place with many restaurants and things to walk to this is for you. Also, the suites are VERY spacious and have jacuzzi tubs.

Stayed for just one night. Hotel staff were amazing. Even when we checked in at midnight they had a smile on their face

Free breakfast in the morning was a nice peek as well!

There was a pool we just didn't have time to use it.

Rooms were a decent size and decent furniture. It did smell a bit musty though!

We had an exceptional experience at this hotel.

I made the reservation from my phone when I should have been sleeping. When we arrived, we found the room reserved for us was a double queen instead of the king with separate bedroom we were expecting. We trudged back to the lobby and explained our predicament. The manager himself took over, changed our reservation to the king room with no change of price (!), and later had an employee bring a $25 Visa gift card to our door. Since the reservation mistake was more than likely mine, we felt overwhelmed both by the service and the value we received.

O and the beds. Cushy, but not too cushy, with the best feather pillows.

There was one light bulb burned out in our room, a bit of the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, and we did wish for a bathroom fan. Otherwise, we found our room to be big, well appointed, and beautifully clean. This hotel is located at Southlands, a new (and blissfully quiet) shopping area on the edge of Denver.

In my opinion, and I did a lot of research before choosing this hotel, we received the best value for this type of room to be found in the Denver area. And that was before our upgrade. To say the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations seems an understatement.

Room Tip: Try the top floor for no ceiling noise.
