i go to the university of colorado school of medicine and i used to live in one of the apartments close by campus. unfortunately, the whole apartment building caught fire, and the school offered me housing at the springhill suites for two weeks. my experience here was great. let me first start with the free breakfast, it was amazing! they serve different breakfast food everyday, all of which was so delicious. the rooms are very clean and spacious! best of all, the staff is very friendly, they always greet you whenever they see you! this made me feel like at home. also the location was very close to my classes, only about ten minutes walking distance! thank you springhill suites for helping me feel more comfortable despite the unfortunate fire disaster that happened to my apartment.

My family stayed at this property after a medical visit. Super clean facility and very professional staff. Breakfast was adequate. We enjoyed the affordable happy hour. We especially enjoyed the the spacious, modern rooms. The bed were very comfortable. The only drawback was the moderately loud humming noise our A/C unit made throughout the night.

We stayed at this hotel the night before a doctor appointment at Children's Hospital across the street. We choose this hotel because it gave a discount if you had appointments at the hospitals across the street. It was very nice, almost museum nice. I didn't think it was really set up for kids. The swimming pool is very small and more focused on your adult business travelers. So depending on your trip this may be exactly the right hotel for you! We will stay here again because of its location to the hospital and it was very nice. Breakfast was good, the scrambled eggs actually tasted like real eggs and the biscuits and gravy wasn't too bad either.
I did expect more out of my mattress comfort for a Marriott. The bed was a little hard for me.
The rooms were very nice with a separate sitting area. The toilet and bathtub were split into different rooms. A huge walk in closet.

Stayed at the Springhill Suites for 3 nights last week. Our daughter started Pharmacy school across the street at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. This hotel is positioned perfectly for people that have business at the University, or at University or The Children's Hospital. The Hotel was pretty busy, but ran very efficiently. The room was extremely nice - very modern and comfortable. The room was quite large - mine had a partial glass wall and desk separating the bed from the couch. I didn't use the pool or gym, but did tour through both, and they seemed like they were in very good shape, and kept up nicely. The breakfast was very good - lots of choices.

Room Tip: North facing room will give you a better view of the hospitals directly across the street. South fa...

Brand spankin' new. Cool, efficient room format (sliding doors to separate shower and toilet bathrooms, separated sitting/sleeping areas), very clean, and a downstairs bar to boot! If you know someone at the med school, or if you have business there, this is your place. We are in the former group; this will be our place every time we visit. Bravo, Marriott!

Word of warning: the entire metro Denver area is under construction, and this neighborhood is no different. Between freeway construction and med school campus construction, it fits right in with the rest of the mess that is Denver. One gets the feeling that all of metro Denver will shine.... in about 4-5 more years. Plan accordingly.

We stayed at this hotel because my mom was involved in a clinical trial over at the hospital, and this hotel was the closest/most convenient. The room was comfortable with a sitting area, mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, king sized bed. Shower area was separate from the toilet, which was a little different but worked fine...kind of nice to have 2 separate sinks for getting ready in the morning. Had a wonderful breakfast-hot items available from 6:30-9, but had some cold items available earlier than that. Breakfast consisted of: juice, coffee, hardboiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, hot oatmeal, dry cereals, apples, bananas, yogurts, bagels, muffins, hot waffles you could make from batter. Had a nice looking fitness center with individual tv's on cardio equipment, pool and hot tub. We found out that my mom didn't have to go back to the hospital the following morning as was originally planned-the hotel didn't charge us for the extra day we were planning on staying, and allowed us to come get our things mid-afternoon and check out at that point. Very helpful!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the parking lot instead of the busy road (Colfax I think)...much quieter.

Stayed here for one night so I could leave on an early flight out of the Denver airport. The hotel is new, modern and the rooms have a decidedly European feel replete with separate water closet, and other distinctive qualities.

I stayed on the first floor street side and still got a good night's sleep. Even so, sensitive sleepers might want to consider getting a room on the south side away from the street.
